En resa in i den 2 miljoner gamla grottan med en spektakulär interiör. Postojna-grottan är en imponerande grotta med global igenkänning som redan har nått 38 miljoner besökare på 200 år sedan den öppnades för allmänheten. Ett under hände när Pivka-floden trängde sig in i den underjordiska världen och skapade först en grotta och senare en hisnande interiör med ett fantastiskt nät av tunnlar, gallerier, hallar och passager. Ett pittoreskt karstfenomen skapade också en unik naturskapelse som stalaktit, stalagmit, gardiner, förstenade vattenfall och grottpärlor. Ett av de oändliga underverken i grottan är också så kallad "människofisk" eller "proteus" - ett blindt djur som är mest anmärkningsvärt för sina anpassningar till ett liv i totalt mörker i sin underjordiska livsmiljö.

I am so glad I went on this tour! I was almost going to take a bus/train to the caves and castle on my own but when I saw it would take three hours decided to book this tour on a whim. My guide provided great information about Ljubljana and Slovenia on the way to the caves and castle which you can't get when you travel on your own. I think the time in the castle was exactly the right amount and while I thought the tour was long when booking it, it actually worked out to be exactly right. Our guide was kind enough to take photos for us at the castle too. I also almost didn't go in the castle but it is also worth the extra €10/20. I really appreciated the drive through towns on the way because it's also difficult to know where to go when you drive yourself. Great tour and worth the price just for the local knowledge alone.
Alina was a wonderful guide, she gave us so much information on the local history as well as the places we were visiting. Can highly recommend.
Matic was a very engaging guide which made the visits even better. And of course both stops were worth the visit.
It was a great day! The castle was fun, but for me the highlight was the cave. Along with seeing the cave itself, we got to meet some of the blind cave salamaders!

Lake Bled, Postojna Cave, and Predjama Castle were all great, but DJ really made the day special. The weather was pouring, and he got completely soaked, yet he stayed positive, energetic, and attentive throughout the tour. He genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. Initially, we benchmarked self travel to these places, but the price is well worth it. We had David as our guide, knowledgable and entertaining in sharing lots of information about the area and Slovenia during the journeys. The castle section was brisk, but this was appropriate enough to get all the info, a few pictures and a very brief cafe stop. However, if there’s crowds you’ll need to make sure to work through these to maximise what you see. The caves were great too, pick up was easy, we head to the map pin provided and David exited the van and approached us, makes it much easier than hesitantly asking around trying to find out which we are to go to. Overall, cannot fault the tour/experience and have already booked another trip tomorrow with this operator.
From start to finish, the organization of this tour completely justified the price. Predjama Castle left us speechless. Cave stunning! Every detail of this trip was handled perfectly, and we loved every minute!

Our guide( sorry name eludes me) was simply the best. As we drove to the Castle and Caves and back his passing on of information relating to culture and history of Slovenia was really good. Beth venues simply stunning…….The Caves were awe inspiring. Well organised trip….given enough time in each venue to thoroughly appreciate everything.
