Whilst we had a nice boat trip, we have discovered on returning home, that due to a technical error (through Get Your Guide), we have been charged twice. A very costly trip. I tried booking the trip initially and after I’d put my card details in, the wheel kept whirling and payment didn’t go through. The app kept saying try again later. Which I did and no success. So, my husband booked it instead. My husband’s credit card states £179 was withdrawn but then my statement came through and £156 had been taken out. I contacted Get Your Guide but was told that it was too late and quoted their cancellation policy. I contacted the provider who have told me to contact GYG. I went back to GYG and they very kindly investigated a little more. They have let me know that they contacted Poseidon Submarine who declined to refund us one of the payments. Now, my question is this - the provider would have seen two bookings on the same day with the same names. Why didn’t they tell us on the day we arrived? It was a checkout error and they could have done the decent thing and given us a refund on one of those payments. Disappointed is an understatement, and a very expensive trip. Please be careful using GYG or any supplier.

Good fun
We enjoyed our trip on the Poseidon. Initially i was sceptical about it only being 45 minutes but actually that was just the right duration for the trip. Initially you head out of the harbour which provides lovely views of the old town of Rhodes. You then head downstairs to see the fish. A diver feeding the fish helps ensure you see lots. I did feel a little nausea when watching the fish when the boat moved but not too bad. If you are in any way likely to feel seasick or not enjoy small spaces i suggest you go downstairs last so it’s easy to return to the surface if you want to. Overall it was a good experience led by a friendly competent crew.

Great experience for an under sea adventure - compared to other trips reasonably priced. The length of the trip is just long enough Not too busy which means you get great views Staff were very helpful Best for singles, couples or families Highly recommended Spyro and Angel are great at making you feel welcome
