Vår helt nya motorbåt, har den perfekta storleken och dimensionerna för att gå in i några av de mest fantastiska grottorna mellan Portimão och Benagil. Med start från Portimão, mötesplatsen ligger bredvid ruinerna av San Francisco-klostret, vi börjar med en liten säkerhetsgenomgång från våra besättningsmedlemmar, utdelning av flytvästar. Tilldelning av reserver sker automatiskt. Portimão Marina ligger på den västra sidan av Portimão och erbjuder inte bara en säker tillflyktsort för sjömän, utan också en livlig och rolig plats att tillbringa soliga sommardagar eller att titta på vågorna på vintern.
Vi åker till Benagil, en liten fiskeby på Algarves södra kust som har blivit berömmelse de senaste åren tack vare sin otroliga havsgrotta, men det finns mycket mer än bara en grotta att utforska i denna pittoreska Algarve-destination. Den mest kända av klippformationerna är grottan i Benagil (Gruta de Benagil), där Algar de Benagil också ligger. Denna gigantiska grotta kallas ibland för Benagil-katedralen på grund av de olika valv den bildar, som, sett från utsidan av grottan, ger den utseendet av en katedral.

Our guide took the time to stop regularly for a few short explanations. Numerous stopping points. Nice high-speed experience. Ultimately, what seemed to be a very touristy experience turned out to be very nice. Maybe because we took the 5 p.m. session. You can come dressed however you wish because you will board from a pontoon. Very large parking lot that will ensure you a spot upon arrival.

A great family experience We took the speedboat excursion to the Benagil caves, and the experience was fantastic. My wife, my daughter, and I went, and the three of us enjoyed it immensely. The boat ride adds a touch of adventure and makes the tour even more fun. The caves and the coast are spectacular, and being able to see them from the sea is totally worth it. In addition, the service was very friendly and pleasant throughout the entire excursion. Without a doubt, an activity we recommend doing if you are in the area, especially as a family. We took home a great memory!

Everything perfect, we had a very fun excursion with Captain Rui and the guide Sergi, they are stars, I would gladly do it again with them.

Booked online arrived 35mins Early as asked checked in given life jackets told were to wait 50mins later we were the last people standing with life jackets on asked 1 off the workers checked her pad and said sorry we cver booked due to a computer glitch, we will give u a refund and that was that ,very unprofessional in my opinion .

Highly recommended experience. The route is incredible, visiting caves of exceptional beauty. The guide and the boat captain were excellent.

While a little disorganized getting registered, putting on a life jacket and getting on to the boats, the trip itself was fabulous. The boat slowed down at every point the guide would speak about something, allowing us to hear. The guide was knowledgeable about the whole area, not just the caves, and it was a great way to start our day in Portimao. The guide balanced info and humor well. Nothing felt rushed. This was a great value for what we paid, the reasonable cost had me worried about the quality of the trip, but they exceeded all expectations.

We are still looking for the adrenaline rush…. Those who are in the back do not fully enjoy the tours. It is a shame. On the other hand, Beatriz is great!

Very nice experience. Funny guide. Told a lot about the area. Waited a long time in the heat beforehand. We had to arrive 30 minutes in advance. Our boat left 55 min later. Was a bit of a slog. Further recommended.

Very good trip! We were only 7 people on the boat and were pretty much the only ones in some caves. Only the cave of Benagil was very busy, but beautiful. Nice crew, top experience!
