Njut av en vacker dag med vår exklusiva och 100% privata rundtur. Vår professionella naturalist guide och deluxe transport, kommer att plocka upp dig direkt från ditt hotell. Vi kommer att resa vackra vägar till toppen av Poas vulkanen, som ligger cirka 90 minuter från huvudstaden. Vi kommer att få se kaffe-, blomster- och jordgubbsodlingar längs vägen. Ett kort stopp kommer att göras en kaffeplantage och kafé. Väl framme vid nationalparken tar en kort promenad dig till toppen av vulkanen och huvudkratern, där du har tid att ta fantastiska bilder. Efter besöket på vulkanen fortsätter ni till La Paz Waterfalls Gardens. Vid ankomsten kan du njuta av parkens attraktioner med vår naturalist tour Guide. Utforska de många djurutställningarna inklusive sengångare, apor, jaguarer, fjärilar, ormar och mer. Ta naturpromenaden till de 5 vattenfallen och njut av den orörda regnskogens storslagenhet. I denna tur ingår en härlig lunchbuffé innan ni återvänder till hotellet.

Poás-vulkanen, är en aktiv 2 708 meter lång stratovulkan i centrala Costa Rica och ligger i Poas Volcano National Park. Det har brutit ut 40 gånger sedan 1828, inklusive april 2017 då besökare och invånare evakuerades. Den är aktiv och har en av de största kratrarna i världen. Lär känna denna koloss utan att resa långa sträckor. This experience was incredible and made our whole trip! I really loved that it was private because we could stop wherever we wanted, whenever wewanted, and take the time to see the things we wanted to see. Unfortunately, we were unable to see the volcano due to weather, but it was still great to hike around the area and experience the different Costa Rican habitats. We loved our extra little stop at the coffee plantation on our way to the volcano. The waterfall tour was absolutely incredible and the lunch provided at the wildlife sanctuary was fantastic! This was truly a special addition to our trip and a special thank you to our guides for making it so incredible.

Expect a some driving as you make your way to the volcano. Fortunately we saw it before the clouds covered the volcano. However, clouds did cover the lake which was healthy wake up. La Paz was great and made better by our guide. He gave us a great trick to do at the waterfall. He also helped find the frogs, and point out all the important items. Doing it by ourselves allowed us to speed up and slowdown as we wish.

We had a wonderful day with Josue, our guide, and Andrés, our driver. We lucked out with an exceptionally clear day at Volcán Poas, with amazing views and minor eruptions. The La Paz Waterfalls Gardens are exceptionally beautiful but be ready for the 600 stairs throughout the park. The gardens serve as a sanctuary for injured wildlife that cannot be returned to the wild and it was a great way to experience Costa Rican diversity up close.

We had a wonderful leader and driver. Nancy was full of info and indulged our wishes for a little extra walking. The volcano was hidden by fog when we arrived but the guide suggested we be patient and in a few minutes it cleared out for a magnificent view. I am not a coffee drinker but found the coffee plantation fascinating. We enjoyed the waterfall garden as well.

We did 2 private Day tours with this company . 1st La paz waterfall gardens en Poas volcano, 2nd crocodile river and carare national park. Both tours were excellent. Great guides, Mario and Alberto and Eugene the driver. The guides gave us so much intresting information about Costa Rica and the flora and wildlife. They were really helpfull with taking the best pictures. Alberto has fantastic eyes, hè saw so many very hard to spot animals in Cararepark, like a little blue/black frog, a viper scarlet macaws, tucans and many others. Transportation and lunch were really good too. These 2 days were a great introduction to Costa Rica! Pura vida!

We were lucky: the volcano gods smiled on us and although there were heavy clouds over San Jose there were no clouds over the volcano. There was a lot of volcanic smoke and gas inside the crater, but that is a large part of the attraction! The smoke came and went and we got occasional good clear views down to the bubbling crater lake. It was a good experience. The La Paza wildlife center was more interesting than I had expected. I enjoyed visiting with the toucans, the frogs, the butterflies and the humming birds, but I especially enjoyed the chance to see an amiable sloth up close in their enclosure. Gerardo was a great guide. He had a lot of knowledge and information to share, both about the specific things we saw on the tour and more broadly about Costa Rica. Thank you!
