En dagstur till vulkanen Poas är mycket komplett eftersom den inkluderar transport, entréavgifter och en utsökt frukost och lunch innan du återvänder till ditt hotell. Det går vanligtvis från staden San Jose och på vägen till vulkanen kommer du att kunna observera mycket natur och vackra landskap, på turen till plantagen får du lära dig hur costaricanska kaffebönor odlas, där du kan även smaka på slutprodukten med en rik smak. El Poás är vulkanen med en av de största kratrarna i hela Centralamerika, vilket gör den till en av de viktigaste turistdestinationerna i Costa Rica. På denna plats kan du få kontakt med naturen och njuta av dess läckra kalla väder. Efter besöket i vulkanen fortsätter du till La Paz Waterfall Gardens, en fristad för vilda djur Uppkallad efter de fem vattenfallen och den vackra växtligheten som frodas på platsen.

När vi går uppför berget kommer du att märka en förändring i temperatur och vegetation; du kommer att ha möjlighet att se kaffeplantager samt ormbunks-, blom- och jordgubbsodlingar längs vägen, vilket skapar ett vackert utbud av färger och bilder. Sedan besöker du en restaurang i området för en utsökt frukost.
Efter kaffeturen fortsätter vi till Poas Volcano National Park, där det finns en märkbar förändring i temperatur och frodig vegetation i molnskogen. Poás-vulkanen är en aktiv stratovulkan på 2 708 meter (8 885 fot). Vulkanens krater är över en mil tvärs över och 1050 fot djup. Det har haft utbrott 40 gånger sedan 1828, inklusive april 2017. Vid vulkanen kommer du att ha tid att njuta av den imponerande huvudkratern med dess svavelfumaroler, och vandra på en stig till den vackra Botos-lagunen när vi lär dig om de olika ekosystemen i parken.
Efter Poás fortsätter vi till La Paz Waterfall Garden, där du kommer att njuta av en lunchbuffé (betygsatt 4 Forks av Costa Rica Tourism Council) som inkluderar flera urval av traditionella costaricanska rätter och mycket mer. Vid La Paz Waterfall Gardens kommer vi att gå genom vandringsleder omgivna av frodig tropisk regnskog. Här kommer vi att uppskatta strömmande vita floder, spektakulära vattenfall, fåglar, fjärilar, apor och kolibrier. Det finns också pedagogiska djurutställningar att njuta av såsom voljären, fjärilsobservatoriet, kolibriträdgården, Serpentarium, Jungle Cats Exhibit och Frog Exhibit. Detta är definitivt en tur som uppskattas av naturälskare i alla åldrar.

We visited a coffee plantation, volcano, and had lunch on our tour. Everything was perfect, I highly recommend this company. Eduardo was our tour guide and he was nice, knowledgeable, patient and did everything possible to make sure we had a great experience. 5 stars for sure!
Jose Diaz was an incredibly kind, and informative tour guide able to clearly communicate in both English and Spanish. It was an absolute pleasure experiencing the Poas volcano and the coffee plantation. He also kindly let us stop for a bit at the Starbucks location, Alsacia. The booking process was very easy as well. The Poas volcano was originally closed when we planned our trip, so when we found out it had re-opened we called around 7pm, and they were able to have the entire tour arranged within the hour for a tour the next day at 8am. We would definitely recommend this agency and would travel with them again. Pura vida!
This tour gave us a little taste of Costa Rica and was well done. Rodger was our guide and was knowledgeable and friendly and made it a really fun day. He was on time and we always knew what we were doing next.

The guides were superb. It was all good. The volcano, coffee fields, and waterfalls. Surprisingly the waterfall aspect was quite physically intensive. I am 78 years old and it was a challenge for me. And I’m an ex airborne Ranger
We had a fantastic first day visiting the 3 places... 1. DOKA - Coffee plantation along with our breakfast. 2. Poas Volcano - although it was cloudy so we didn't get the best view (that's down to weather conditions) 3. La Pas Waterfalls & Gardens - we saw some many beautiful birds and animals, you need a few hours here then finished up by see the various waterfalls. We also had lunch here. We had an early start of 7.30am and didnt get home until 6.45pm but it was certainly worth it with our excellent guide.
This is a second tine we hired Sky Solutions and as predicted it was incredible! Roger was so knowledgeable and very helpful. He picked us up in Belen and dropped us off at Playa Hermosa. We stopped a few times to show us some fun spots. He answered all our questions and told us a lot of interesting facts about Costa Rica. At the end of our stay in Costa Rica he picked us up and took us to a coffee plantation, Volcano and stopped along the way to show us more interesting places. You could tell how passionate he is about his country and proudly talked about all the cool stuff! My friends are already planning to come back and definitely use Sky again! What a great experience!
