Vi går genom stadens huvudartär för att fylla oss med typiska smaker och dofter i Mexiko: gatumostationer och restauranger som lokalbefolkningen tider. En unik och ofrivillig upplevelse med en kunnig guide som följer med dig i denna tre timmars rundtur runt staden, vanligtvis bort från turistorter. Vi fortsätter på väg att ha några lokalt handgjorda quesadillas med en speciell överraskningsingrediens!
Vi stannar vid en familjedriven marknad där de har svåra att hitta och säsongens frukt, grönsaker och färskpressad juice, där du kan lära dig allt om dessa exotiska livsmedel från din expertguide.
Vi är på väg igen till en lokalt driven frukt- och grönsaksmarknad, som innehåller många exotiska frukter som är typiska för mexikansk jordbruk och mat. Det är på denna marknad som ligger i centrala Playa del Carmen, där vi ska prova lokala fruktjuicer, vilket också är en typisk förfriskning som lokalbefolkningen njuter av varje dag. Efteråt kommer din guide att leda dig mot en av de bästa taquerierna i staden, då serveras tacos!
Vi går igenom denna torg för att hitta några taco-pastorer på en av våra favoritmatställen.
Vid detta stopp kommer vi att prova en mullvad.

Angelina was outstanding in providing cultural and food facts. We learned a lot with her. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious and authentic. We went to 7 spots: 1) enchilada de mole, 2) agua fresca. 3) sope de Huitlacoche, 4) taco at an all vegan restaurant, 5) fruit market, 6) street taco, 7) natural fruit ice pop. My favorite was the mole. The food was great and I would go back and eat it again. However, the price for the experience was too high. Most of the food is street Mexican food which is low cost. The value of the food was about 210 MXN pesos per person and we paid 1,430 MXN pesos per person for food and tour. Although the tour guide was excellent, it was not worth 1.200 MXN pesos per person. In addition, the food was limited to one of each so it wasn’t filling. My family was still hungry at the end and had to request an extra taco in the last spot. They should offer people the option to get 1-2 of each item or only charge for the tour and let people pay for their own food so they have more flexibility on the portions. My family went on an empty stomach expecting a lot of food as per their video of 7 tips before you go so we were disappointed that the food was so limited.
The experience of learning various street food plates was very nice. However, for the price of close to $90 usd person for a family of 4, I was expecting more food and higher end plates. We spent around $100 usd maximum but paid $350 usd. La experiencia fue muy buena y Angelina era super nice. El valor de la comida que escogierion era como pagar maximo la mitad del precio pero no recomendaria a nadie pagar lo que nosotros pagamos.
There was so much wonderful food and variety. Our guide Angela was so fun and not only took us to great food but also gave use knowledge as we explore more food this week!

Everything was amazing! Angelica was THE BEST TOUR GUIDE! Food was delicious experience amazing! The ceviche we had was my favorite and also the dessert at the end ! Definitely a must try tour!

This was a great tour. Abby was so kind and thoughtful. She was so full of knowledge and smiles. I really appreciated getting paired with her. She was the best. I would take a tour around the block if she was leading it. Absolutely highly recommend her and this tour.

The Tour was so much fun, the food spots we're awesome and undercover. The tour guide Enrique was great and gave us so much background knowledge and also told our group so much about culture and history of Playa del Carmen. Would definitely recommend this tour, but don't expect to be fully stuffed after the tour, mostly small portions but great variety.

We had the BEST time on our food walking tour with Enrique! My 20-year-old son and I loved every minute of it. Enrique was funny, knowledgeable, and took us to the absolute best local food spots. You can tell he truly loves the culture, the people, and the food, and that made the experience even better. We ate amazing food, laughed the entire time, and learned so much about the area.
