Under turen kan du upptäcka de karakteristiska interiörerna i Kultur- och vetenskapspalatset: balsalar med utmärkta träarbeten, konferensrum med originalmöbler och utrustning från 50-talet och majestätiska marmortrappor. Din lokala Guide tar dig närmare hela byggnadens historia från 1952 till nu. Njut av underhållande berättelser och anekdoter när du går igenom byggnadens historia. I slutet av din resa, hoppa över kön till hissen och gå till utsiktsterrassen på 30: e våningen för att upptäcka en vacker utsikt över staden. MÖTESPLATS : hitta huvudentrén till palatset för kultur och vetenskap som ligger öster om byggnaden, framför Defilade Square - sidan från Marszalkowska Street. Gå upp, passera mellan två kaféer (Green Cafe Nero och So!Coffee), än en gång ta trappor upp till slutet av korridoren. Guide kommer att vänta på höger sida, framför den stora trädörren "BISTRO TROJKA".

The first thing that left us open-mouthed was the imposing Palace of Culture and Science, a Soviet giant that Stalin “gave” to Warsaw... the gift is in quotes, of course. The taxi driver even gestured the quotation marks with his fingers as he joked. Today, the building has cinemas, restaurants and a new life that seems to say, “since they snapped it up, let’s at least take advantage of it.”

An emblematic building of Warsaw with an Interesting history!! Unfortunately it was very foggy and we didn't see anything from the terrace!

We did just the viewing terrace. Got our tickets at the self service machines which turned out a lot quicker than then ticket kiosk. Make your way round to the lifts and wait. Depending on how many people are in the queue depends on how quick you get up to the terrace? Once there, you get some cracking views across the city. You can take as long or short time as you want?
Fantastic guide, fun explanation of the palace, Polish culture and useful walk-through of the rooms. The viewing terrace was on the 30th floor and the elevators were fast.
