Alla luftballongturer checkar in på parkeringsområdet Deer Valley Airport Balloon Ride, såvida inte alternativet för transfer till och från hotellet är valt. Gästerna flyter ovanför den imponerande Sonoranöknen och tittar på lokala landmärken, vilda djur och växter uppifrån.

- För att garantera en säker upplevelse av varmluftsballongflygning får passagerarna inte vara gravida vid tidpunkten för flygningen, eller nyligen ha opererats eller brutit ben, och bör kunna stå under hela flygningen (cirka 60 minuter). Man ska kunna hoppa från steg två och vara vid god allmän hälsa. Alla passagerare är skyldiga att slutföra en ansvarsbefrielse före resan.
- Den totala turnétiden är 3 - 4 timmar om mötet på vår incheckning plats eller 4 - 5 timmar om du använder våra tur och retur hotell transporttjänster. Den totala turnétiden inkluderar er transfer till vår ökenuppskjutningsplats, visning av ballongens uppblåsning, den ca 45 - 60 minuter långa varmluftsballongfärden, bubbel och bett efter flygning samt uppvisande av flygcertifikat till minnet att ta med hem.
- Våra turer sker i Sonoranöknen, och naturen erbjuder tyvärr ingen toalett. Våra start- och landningsplatser varierar från dag till dag beroende på vindarna, vanligtvis i avlägsna delar av öknen. Även om det vanligtvis finns gott om träd och buskar, finns det inga toalettutrymmen tillgängliga under din resa, så se till att utnyttja toaletten före flygningen!
- Även om vi har de mest flygbara dagarna per år av var som helst i landet, kan dåligt väder hända. Av denna anledning rekommenderar vi alltid att du bokar din ballongflygningsutflykt tidigt under din vistelse så att du har alternativa datum för din flygresa om det skulle vara dåligt väder på ditt valda flygdatum. Om vädret ställs in debiteras du ingen avgift och du kan boka om när det passar dig, eller avboka din bokning helt.

Having to wake up very early to drive to the airport, to then drive to the balloon location in a bumpy van with no talking or any kind of entertainment was dull. We were then told to wait in the van while the pilot evaluated the weather. We were not upset about the flight canceling due to the weather, but there was no communication. I’m in aviation and saw the cells and looked over the TAF.. it was forecasted to be higher winds. We waited for an hour in the van.. with no other conversation from the pilot or driver.. and then told it was canceled due to the winds. If there had been some sort of communication and even if the driver talked and asked questions it would have been a pleasant experience. To then drive back another 45 minutes… I wouldn’t book with you guys again to be honest.. not trying to be mean.. but I’d rather it be an entire event from start to finish.
Fun exercise. Felt totally safe. The only thing you need tobbe prepared for is the amount of heat that is used to fly the hot air ballon I would suggest wearing a hat .I would definetly use this company again

Booked this for my girlfriend’s. Our balloon ride got cancelled for weather, which I get, but they waited until our exact scheduled pickup time to tell us. They had to have known beforehand since they’d have needed to already be on their way to pick us up, so there’s no reason they couldn’t have told us sooner. Because of that timing we’d already checked out of our hotel and ended up with nowhere to stay, and they weren’t able to help when we called. Weather happens, but waiting until the last second to tell us something they already knew was not okay

Safety is always our highest priority, and because hot air ballooning is entirely weather dependent, our FAA-licensed pilots continuously monitor conditions up until launch. On the morning of your flight, we notified all passengers as soon as our pilots determined that conditions were not safe to fly. At that point, your driver was already en route for your scheduled pickup. We can absolutely understand how frustrating it must have been to receive the cancellation notice after you had already checked out of your hotel, and we appreciate you sharing that perspective. While weather decisions sometimes must be made later than we would like due to everchanging conditions, we've shared your feedback with our piloting team to provide as much notice as possible, whenever possible. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this caused and appreciate your understanding that safety must always come first.
Breathtaking views. The guides was kind and informative. Food and champagne was a fun bonus. Really cool experience!

As advertised, do look for the company’s email ,Viator is a little out of the look on correct information; location close but about 1/8 mile in opposite direction.The food is not from the advertised restaurant.A lot of Costco items ,but it was all their the set up ,transportation and crew were all there ,tough to hear driver in van ride ,but most likely didn’t miss much .Highly recommend the company,

The overall experience was really good, from the initial pickup meeting all the way to the balloon landing. However, the pilot was quite rude when verifying our vouchers at the end of the adventure. After booking the experience through Groupon and receiving a booking confirmation from Hot Air Expeditions, I had already marked my vouchers as "used." Because of this, the voucher numbers were no longer visible. The pilot became unnecessarily rude when asking for them, which was a disappointing end to a great trip.

Book your adventure early in the week because we were canceled, because of wind,on the day we scheduled, but were able to squeeze it in on the next day. Our Pilot Tommy was amazing. Very professional and also fun. He took time to make sure we were comfortable & felt safe. This was an incredible ride…so peaceful and beautiful! The breakfast was delicious and they even accommodated me with a gluten-free muffin. The basket was a little tough to get in and out of, but I did it even with a bad knee and one knee replacement. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
