Vår förare väntar på dig i din hotelllobby och fortsätter med turnén. Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple är ett thailändskt tempel i Penang känt för sin stora guldpläterade lutande Buddha, som ligger vid 33m, är en av de största i världen.
Dhammikarama Burmese Temple är ett burmesiskt stil buddhistiskt tempel, grundat 1803, med utarbetade, färgglada stupor och skulpturer. Vid huvudbönen hörs rösterna till viskning och tystnaden brutits endast genom tillfällig ringning av tempelklockor. Det senaste tillskottet till Buddhistemplet i Dhammikarama är Golden Pagoda Bell Tower.

Kapitan Kelingmoskén är utformad på en nyfiken blandning av stilar, som kombinerar kolonial arkitektur med traditionella moriska bågar och dess inredning har en fantastisk kristallkrona och kalligrafi-paneler. Kapten Caudeer byggde av de indiska muslimerna, främst huvudet för det indiska muslimska samhället, namnet moskén efter sig själv och Keling som var ursprunget till hans födelseplats.
Yap Temple som är klan tempel i Lum Yeong Tong Yap Kongsi, som ligger bredvid det. Klan templet ligger vid hörnet av armeniska Street och Cannon Street, i kärnområdet av George Towns UNESCOs världsarvslista.
Gatan börjar från St.George kyrkan som kördes av Anglicans byggdes av British East India Company 1819 och det är känt att vara den äldsta byggnaden i Penang. Byggd med en grekisk arkitektur består interiören av en cool pastellblå med marmorgolv och utanför huvudbyggnaden på kyrkogrunden är ett minnesmärke till Sir Francis Light i form av ett grekiskt tempel.

Really good tour, our guides took us around Penang and explained the history of the island with lots of information we wouldn’t have been able to catch without him. We also visited lots of historical sites and then went to The Top, the highest point in Penang.

I cannot praise this highly enough.. from the very start (message confirming pick-up sent to me in good time) the car was comfortable and spotlessly clean. My host driver has been guiding for over twenty years and knows EVERYTHING there is to know about Penang, it’s culture, it’s history. I had a recent operation and at present have a cane nd I was taken great care of throughout the trip. Parking close to everything, assistance in exiting cr and dealing with any steps.. It was all done with such charm and friendliness and PROFESSIONALISM. I give this trip the highest “mark” I’ve ever given after decades of trip Reviews.

Yes I does say in the description that if they can’t get tickets for Petronas they will get KL tower tickets. But they should have a note that if you are doing “ Reserve and pay later” that they won’t buy the tickets until the day before the event. The reason I purchased this specific tour is because the Petronas towers tickets were included. Also the Batu caves. The tour is pretty expensive but we did not see the Batu caves because of an Hindu holiday and we did not go up the observation deck for Petronas tower. When we got on the car I asked the driver if he got the tickets for the Petronas tower and he said yes. I said wonderful ! I told him that since we were not going to Batu caves that we wanted to go to KL tower but we will pay for them. He stopped in a store and bought KL tower tickets. When we got to Petronas Tower he said: there is the entrance. We asked him: ok but we need the tickets. Then he said: oh no we called yesterday and the tickets were sold out so you got KL tower tickets. I was so upset!! The driver was almost mute he wil point to the next place and say the name tat is all. This was the worse Viator tour we have taken.
