Han brukade vara en av de rikaste männen i Rumänien vid den tiden och bestämde sig för att bygga detta autentiska monument med en hisnande panoramautsikt över Bucegibergen. Kör från Brasov till SInaia ca. 50 minuter. Det expansiva slottet Peleș i bayersk stil byggdes bland en frodig skog för att hysa Rumäniens kungligheter på 1800-talet och är bland de vackraste i Europa. En guide kommer att leda dig genom många av dess obefläckade, utsmyckade rum, fortfarande prydda med frodiga möbler och dekorationer. Du kommer också att ha chansen att besöka det närliggande slottet Pelișor, ett mindre kungligt residens inrett i art nouveau-finesser.
Sinaiaklostret, beläget i Sinaia, i Prahova County, Rumänien, grundades av prins Mihail Cantacuzino 1695 och är uppkallat efter det stora Saint Catherine's Monastery på berget Sinai i Egypten. Från och med 2005 bebos det av 13 kristna ortodoxa munkar ledda av hegumen Macarie Boguș. Det är en del av Bukarests ärkestift. Gamla kyrkan byggdes 1695. 2006 stängdes den för att påbörja ett restaureringsprojekt för att återställa den till sin forna skönhet. Den ursprungliga interiörmålningen färdigställdes av Pârvu Mutu och restaurerades för första gången 1795. Gamla kyrkan har öppnat igen från och med 2016. Lunchpaus ca 30-45 minuter.
Kör till Busteni ca 20 minuter. Cantacuzino Castle fick en helt ny vibb i den nya "Wednesday"-serien. Cantacuzino slott från Busteni byggdes och invigdes 1911 på önskan av prins Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino (även känd som "Nabob" - Rumäniens premiärminister mellan 1899-1900 och 1904-1907). Slottet, byggt i nyrumänsk stil, är omgivet av en park som tar dig till grottan, kaskaderna och fontänerna. Receptionshallen rymmer en unik samling av heraldik i Rumänien. Byggnaden av tegel och sten sträcker sig över en yta på 3148 kvm. Dekorationerna ger interiören en stark romantisk atmosfär. Eldstäderna gjorda av vit sten och bärande polykroma mosaiker kompletterar atmosfären av en herrgårdsbostad, vilket ökar byggnadens värde. Slottet har en unik samling som representerar vapenskölden för familjerna Boyar som är relaterade till Cantacuzino-familjens medlemmar från den valakiska sidan. Kör tillbaka till Brasov ca 40 - 50 minuter.

- Från och med den 1 november beslutade företaget som sköter biljettförsäljningen på Peleș slott att guider också måste betala inträdesavgiften. Enligt denna nya regel kommer våra guider inte längre att följa med gästerna in i slottet. De kommer att dela den historiska informationen och insikter före och efter ditt besök.

In your trip to Transylvania, you MUST go to Peles! Pictures cannot capture the opulence and beauty. This tour is the perfect way to see it. Peles is definitely the highlight of the day and you spend most of the time there, but it's really nice to have the other activities (Sinaia monastery and Cantacuzino) as supporting events. Our guide was absolutely perfect, super organized, incredibly knowledgeable, and ready to adapt to wherever our interests lie. He got us into the castle the moment the doors opened, and we could spend as long as we wanted there. It was a great balance to the day. The communication and logistics were excellent. This is a very smooth and easy tour where all you have to do is enjoy the sights! I highly highly recommend this tour!!!!

I had a great day on my tour to visit Peles and Cantacuzino castles. Being the slow season for tourism I was concerned they wouldn’t have the tour if no one else signed up, however they did and I was really appreciative because I really wanted to see the castles and I was leaving the next day. The company was very communicative and helpful with information. The tour guide Tiberiu was extremely nice and full of so much historical information. It was not only such a beautiful trip seeing the land and castles but made for a really valuable lesson in Romanian history. The castles are stunning and the land around them as well. We had a great tour to the two castles. Our guide Charlie picked us up on time at the hotel and guided us through the two castles. He gave us a lot of information, also on other topics that interested us. Charlie is a super nice and fun guide. We'll be back!

We visited on a Sunday and there were crowds at the castle sites so we were glad to have Dan as our guide. He was most helpful in explaining the complexities of the royal families and indeed the shifting complexities of the nationalities in the Balkans

The tour was completely insatiable, with a guide named Charlie having extensive knowledge of history and castle details. He was such a wonderful guide. It is possible to see the castle alone, but it is definitely better to have a guide. It was super efficient, especially if Kantakouzino Castle was to be incorporated. I couldn't stop wondering what the rooms were for in the castle and how they were decorated. I went to five or 60 rooms in Perez Castle alone and he explained everything in detail. There were large groups of people on tour, but the small number of people on this tour allowed us to ask almost one-on-one questions and they did us a favor. I asked him to arrange a visit to the Château de Périchore and he was happy to include it. The time I got back to Brașov was just right at 15:30, and when I said I wanted to go home, he took me straight to the Brașov ropeway boarding area. Everything is in English, so even Japanese people who understand English somewhat are definitely recommended

Amazing trip, could not have been luckier with Dan as our tour guide. He was very professional and made everything interesting and fun. Would highly recommend. If we would change anything we would maybe skip Cantacuzino castle, but everything else was very interesting to see.
