Had Rob as the travel guide for this experience and would not recommend solely based on this. He was rude, not great to deal with, unapproachable, not helpful, and didn't add anything to the experience. Both Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg were lovely locations but wouldn't book this tour again because of this guy. I also understand tipping is customary. However, you are not entitled to a tip if I was disappointed with your attitude the whole trip. He was pushy about receiving a tip and demanded it at the end of the trip. This put me off. I've never dealt with someone like this in the service industry, especially having worked in service myself for 10+ years and I've never experienced anything like this before.
Highly recommend. Our guide Robert was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Je recommande fortement. Ce fut une super belle journée!

I'll start with the positives. This tour had a great itinerary and my guide Robert shared many interesting facts and had an engaging tone of voice. There were however some weak points. I attended the day after unfortunately acquiring a sports injury that gave me a limp, and was assigned a seat at the back of the van, which was the least accessible area, perhaps because I am in my 20s, but nonetheless having mobility issues at that time, I was disappointed and this caused unnecessary physical challenges, as most of the other attendees in the group of 12 were much more mobile than I was. We made some stops for under 5 minutes where the guide was quite insistent that he take the photos and identified where he wanted to stand and where he wanted each of us to stand and in what order. We obliged, but one would hope with the micromanaging of the photos that they would be reasonably framed. I was disappointed to review my photos and find that he had cropped the landmarks out of my photos on more occasions than not. With multiple photo stops, I expected to at least be in the photo with the landmark. Additionally, my guide greeted one young lady who attended solo in my group with a flat "Did you read the gratuity policy? It's in the email. Read the gratuity policy", which was quite rude. Then upon the tour completing, indicated that he expected $10 from attendees. I felt this quite inappropriate, and I was off at the first stop but I only saw him speak to the three young women in my group this way. Unfortunately, for the above reasons I could not give this otherwise excellent tour 5 stars.

We were glad to be able to visit these two places and the van/bus was a perfect way to get to see them. Our guide/driver provided lots of information. We could’ve done without the sharing of his political views toward the end of the trip.
The driver/guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm prone to getting carsick, but I never felt woozy or uneasy with her driving. The van was roomie and the tour group is small so you don't feel like you have to be squeezed into the van. The experience(s) of Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove felt like we had enough time to walk around, explore and get something to eat. My husband and I talked about doing the tour again before we had to fly home 😆. It was a wonderful experience.
Beautiful countryside and marvelous villages. Not a lot of time at either Lunenburg or Peggy's Cove, but it was enough. Tour guide was full of info (almost too much) but pleasant and articulate.
Good tour to Ludenburg and Peggys Cove. Unfortunately there were 13 passengers in a van that should have held only 11. The last seat had places for 4 persons but the wheel wells made it very uncomfortable.
