Harriet is an amazing guide and host! Her knowledge and experience with French wine was spectacular. This tour far exceeded my expectations. Was not excited about a 3 hour tour and every minute was fantastic. Very grateful for this experience.
We spent a lovely afternoon with Erica. Her knowledge as a pastry chef added a lot to the experience, and she also generously shared her knowledge as a working musician with my son, which gave the tour a whole new dimension for him. A great way to orient yourself when you first arrive in the city -- we frequented one of the boulangeries we visited on the tour several times during our stay. One thing I wish I would have learned from the reviews -- if you were interested in trying the Beef Bourguignon, as we were, that stop is only included on the evening tour. While we enjoyed the beautiful brasserie with the choucroute garni, it's a dish we've had many times before and not one I think of as quintessentially Parisian.
