If you love the Impressionist period, this is a must see museum. Here you will find famous paintings by Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir, Sisley, Manet, etc.
Purchasing tickets for the Museé d’Orsay was easy, even in mid June prior to our visit a few weeks later. I was so glad I found the tickets through Viator because the museum websites were already sold out on the days we would be in Paris. Text reminders weee really helpful and the whole process was easy and trouble-free.
Impressive collection. Wish the line for restaurant moved faster.😃. Loved the Monet rooms. Seurat area was small, but great.
SCAM! Go directly thru museum. They advertise no line but refuse to give you a time that avoids the line! Catch 22, fraudulent advertising. DO NOT BUY! Read other reviews, wish we had.

Regarding the skip-the-line aspect: our offer grants access through the dedicated entrance reserved for ticket holders, which significantly reduces waiting time compared to the on-site ticket counter. During peak periods, however, even pre-booked visitors may experience some waiting at the security check, as this is managed directly by the museum and is beyond our control. We would also like to highlight an important point for all future visitors: The booking voucher received at the time of purchase is not your access ticket and should not be presented at the entrance. The actual ticket is sent to you by email 24 hours before your visit, and again on the morning of your visit. Presenting the voucher instead of the real ticket is unfortunately a common source of confusion, and we strongly insist on this distinction to ensure a smooth visit. Unable to access my tickets so had to buy them at the museum. I will NOT be using Viator again. Recommend buying tickets directly from the museum websites.
I took my daughter to Paris for the first time earlier this month and booked this as another planned activity. I never received the ticket barcode through email or through WhatsApp. I also never received any notification of any issues. I was ultimately forced to repurchase two tickets upon arrival to the museum. It was definitely unexpected and inconvenient :(
Loved coming back here . Homed in an ex railway station that had been designed for visit of Queen Victoria. Wide range artists with sculptures and art .. set out really well in light bright stunning building . Don’t forget to visit the restaurant, even just for the view, on 5th door where you can see Sacre Couer through the round window . Walk across the bridge to Tuileries Garden to chill after and / or visit the Orangerie Museum where more post modern art located including Monet .. awesome
Was a great way to visit the museum when tickets online were already sold out. We also had the freedom to go at anytime that particular day, very convenient!
Lovely art museum, great works of art, organized well, very clean, quick amd easy to enter, and air conditioned.
Great visit. Wonderful exhibits and in a great and stately building as well. Nice and calm atmosphere in which to enjoy the wonderful works of art!
