För dem som vill se vilda djur i Guanacaste, Palo Verde National Park båttur är en av de bästa! Det bästa sättet att uppleva nationalparken är genom att ta en guidad båttur nedför floden för att titta på vilda djur. Båtturen är ca 1,5 timme lång och går nerför Tempisquefloden i en 20 - 25 platsers motorbåt. Det är också en bra tur för familjer och pensionärer som kanske har svårt att gå långa sträckor men vill se djurliv och natur eftersom det inte finns någon ansträngande aktivitet. När du kör mer eller mindre 1 timme och 35 minuter genom Country Site, kommer du att anlända för att njuta av en tvåtimmars kryssning längs floden som har den närmaste tillgången till Palo Verde National Park. Denna flod är en av de viktigaste i Costa Rica, för för år sedan användes Tempisque River som en transportlinje för människor och varor som boskap och sockerrör. Dessutom anses floden vara en av de största fågelreservaten i Centralamerika. Tempisque River Har en stor mängd fågelliv, inklusive vattenlevande fåglar som hägrar, hägrar, ibis, storkar, rosensked och många andra arter. Förutom fåglar gillar apor att klättra och äta löv och frukter från träden längs floden. De respekterade krokodilerna och enorma leguanerna sitter på stenar för att värma upp sina kroppar under solen. Turen avslutas med en utsökt typisk costaricansk måltid.

Rainer and Señor Solano were fantastic! Rainer was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly! We felt safe and learned so much. We saw crocodiles, monkeys, a variety of birds, and a basilisk lizard. We were entertained from beginning to end. We never got bored. It was the perfect amount of time for the experience. Everything flowed very nicely. Excellent trip - our tour guide, Graivin (hopefully spelled correctly) was very imformative, friendly and personable. It was like a private tour with just my friend and I. Saw lots of crocodiles, birds and monkeys while enjoying the boat ride and a very good Costa Rican breakfast. Would highly recommend this tour.

One of the highlights of our time in Costa Rica. Luis was a great guide! Be sure to get the lunch afterwards. It is prepared from scratch and absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
This was a great tour and exceeded our expectations. The tour guide Carlos was friendly and knowledgeable, and the boat driver was very experienced and helpful. very wild area and very beautiful. We saw lots of wildlife: capuchin monkeys, howler monkeys, several types of iguanas, and lots of crocodiles. Also a great variety of birds, including grey and blue herons, snow egrets,and kingfishers. Afterwards they took us to local farm for an authentic Costa Rican meal. We were picked up at our condo so we did not have to drive. An unforgettable experience.

Awesome experience. Saw a ton of birds, monkeys , iguanas and crocodiles. Carlos and the captain did a great job spotting.. Go on the earliest tour time you can. The Costa Rican breakfast was delicious and the indigenous pottery demo was informative and fun to watch. H

Great experience. We saw howler monkeys, white face monkeys, some birds and some really BIG crocodiles. Also saw an iguana in the tree before we boarded the boat and some coati ran across the road in front of our van. Our captain was awesome at spotting the wildlife. Thanks for a great adventure guys.

Our tour guides were so great! Did a great job showing us nature, educating us about Costa Rica and we saw so many animals. We saw birds, white faced monkeys, crocs, and lizards. Our group included people aged 11-74. Highly recommend.
