På marknaden kan du njuta av en grillad kammussla, ett färskt ostron och ett generöst charkuteripålägg: iberisk ekollonmatad skinka, sobrassada, Mahónost, fuet och camaiot, allt parat med lokalt rött vin. Fortsätt till ett traditionellt kvartersbageri för en bit coca de trampó, Mallorcas älskade salta tunnbröd. Slå dig ner för en komplett medelhavslunch med husets vin och hemlagad dessert på en ikonisk vinkällare-förvandlad-restaurang. Avsluta med en söt ton med en varm, nybakad ensaimada från ett hantverksmässigt konditori. It’s an easy and affordable way to experience the local culture and city sites. Rather than use using your phone as your guide, you get to interact with a local knowledgeable of the cuisine, culture and history.

Great walking tour around the old town, even though it was hot and sticky. Richie was very good and showed us several good places especially at the market. Unfortunately I don’t eat chicken, and the substitute pasta dish was very low standard. Everything else was great.

We have done many many Secret Food tours because we find the guides are local and excellent sources of knowledge and the food is plentiful and authentic. They also cater to dietary requirements. Alicia was fabulous. A true local with so much knowledge and lovely and fun. The only thing I would change is the ‘secret food’ which was a packet of cookies…. Substandard for secret food tours in my experience

Our guide Alicia was great! The variety of the food tasted on the tour was very good too. We loved how Alicia wove in some history about the city along the tour. The size of the group was perfect too.

Really enjoyed this tour with Richie, who has lived in Mallorca for 35 years and knows the island well! The food was delicious and plentiful. Just the right mix of savory, sweet and typical dishes. Highly recommend!

We have to say we really enjoyed our tour with Richie. We booked a group tour (2-12 people) but it was only the two of us by coincidence, we didn't mind at all. With Richie being a great guide and answering all the questions we had about food, the culture and telling us about a ton of stuff we didn't even know to ask he definitely surpassed our expectations and guided us through an assortment of various delicious dishes and ingredients. With a length of a little more than 3 hours it was great fun. We were definitely full afterwards so since the tour starts at 10:30 we wouldn't advise on having breakfast before, it's easily enough food. Overall we highly recommend the tour and advise on considering a private tour for smaller groups. It's well worth the money. : )
