Solo trip 1st time in Aruba...WONDERFUL experience. Jetskiing was a great way to get my day and trip started! The guys were friendly and helpful, even held my belongings while I was riding them waves!
It was a very fun morning... we were free to do what we wanted and had a great time. Always respecting and not doing crazy things. Professional people and very good treatment.
ATTENTION POTENTIAL JETSKI RENTERS...... You will be charged $100 for 30 minutes on a jetski that they regulate to an astonishing 27 mph. Nowhere is it mentioned that they do this. When I questioned them about it, the guy tried to defend this crap and proceeded to knock Americans and how there are so many jetski accidents in the U.S. Uncalled for and unprofessional. DO NOT RENT JETSKIS FROM HERE.
Loved it. ! Nice beach. Very busy with all the hotels. But still nice. I would visit again for sure. !! Shops and restaurants conveniently near by
Had a great time renting waverunners from Frank’s. Good equipment and nice people made the process quick and easy. Would definitely recommend and/or do again! Thanks to Frank’s!!!
They were awesome to deal with very nice staff highly recommend them water was absolutely beautiful
First time on a jet ski and it was super fun and easy. The crew explained to me what do and the rules. I had an awesome time. A must do if you are in Aruba.
My daughter and her friends used Frank's for parasailing, wave runners, and tubing. We used the location right next to the Marriot. They were fantastic, safe and very accommodating. A big shout out to Eddie, Ike, and Mel for being so friendly and helpful.
Warning DO NOT USE!!! Reckless company that don’t care less & only want the $$$ Brief description We went tubing with Franks water-sports the boat driver was reckless causing the the tube to flip & resulting in a broken arm and cancellation of a dream holiday! Full description below We arrived at Franks water sports located on the beach just outside the Holiday inn (Palm Beach) for a day of sunbathing & fun in the Sea We rented some loungers and a float initially for $45 After seeing people going on the Tubes being towed by a speed boat we thought we’d have a go and three of us booked a ride from Franks Watersports (Big Mistake) We paid our $25 per person separately but only signed one disclaimer between us. And the disclaimer I signed only had my name on it We asked for Big Mable as it seemed more stable with a big back area (like a floating armchair) When our time come we are called over to the life jackets and there was a different float tube attached to the boat (smaller than big Mable) probably because it was only three of us We clambered on & the boat driver told us do thumbs up to go faster and the stop sign Bearing in mind the stop sign needed two hands which means you have to stop holding the handles and you would get flung off (no sense) So He pulled off from the shore and after about 5 seconds opened the throttle full while turning sharp right causing the tube to swing sharply across his wake First wave we were went airborne & landed (Still accelerating)1 second later Second wave (caused by his wake) airborne even higher until the third and most disastrous which caused the entire inflatable to flip over launching all three of us into the sea at breakneck speed It felt like hitting concrete, and as I regained my composure I could see my sister was in distress The impact had broken her upper arm, and she was in extreme pain We signalled the boat with the Stop sign and he came back to collect What happened next was distressing for everyone as somehow we had to get my sister on and off the boat to the shore A young lad who worked for the firm offered to drive us to the hospital with his own car as the ambulance costs $400 and takes 30 minutes to arrive The trip to the hospital was horrendous every bump was excruciatingly painful for my sister Finally at the hospital emergency dept she was seen very quickly and X-rays showed a bad break to the upper arm We had to arrange early flights back so she could have an operation in the UK The day after the accident I returned to Franks water-sports and spoke with same woman who had me sign the disclaimer. She is an older woman and in charge of the money so possibly the manager I told her what I thought about the reckless Boat driver (who happened to be off that day) She showed no signs of sympathy and blamed Mother Nature! I showed her the video of the accident and she said it was the wake from other boats! Basically she’s an idiot I told her the hospital bill was already into $700 and she said nothing. As a point of principle I said in frustration I want the money back that we paid for the ride (I don’t care about $75 but she was so annoying I insisted) She point blank refused to pay until I raised the volume so other victims (customers) could hear what was going on After a phone call to (the Boss) she relented But then she tried to say I couldn’t have the disclaimer copy if I had a refund! What a joke company I raised the volume a bit more and finally (through gritted teeth) she gave the money and the disclaimer to us So in a nut shell I wouldn’t recommended Tubing / inflatable raft to anyone and certainly wouldn’t recommend Franks water sports
We were lucky to find availability when we did late Thursday afternoon in the 1pm time frame or so but luckily Franks was able to accommodate 2 double jet skis. Two doubles cost $70 each for 30 mins which seemed to be competitive with all the other companies on the beach along the shore. The staff was super friendly, the jet skis were so much fun to operate and I'm glad that the staff was close by in case anything arose. In our case one of the jet skis ran out of fuel but luckily for my family and I we were able to swap machines within seconds. I'd use them again, tons of fun in a beautiful spot away from other boating trafffic.
