Monreales katedral och kloster.
Benediktinerklostret vid Monreale (Chiostro dei Benedettini: öppettider måndag 9-6.30, sol och semester 9-1) avslutades c. 1200. Det mäter 47x47 meter och ligger på södra sidan av katedralen. Varje sida har 26 bågar vilande på kolumner. De fantastiska huvudstäderna innehåller berättelser från det gamla och det nya testamentet.

The guide was the highlight of the trip. Salvo was communicating the day before and met us right at the entrance/exit of the port in Palermo. He really took time to learn our names and speak to each of us on a unique level. The sites were great and the guide was able to speak about the great history
We enjoyed our experience. Our guide was excellent and very informative . The church was amazing! The catacombs a bit creepy ! We had a great time
Salvo was our guide. He was excellent, thorough, and informative every step of the way. The tour ended up being private with just me and my husband. The cathedral in Monreale was beyond beautiful Salvo explained much of the artwork in the Cathedral. We then moved on to the catacombs where Salvo continued to point out various pieces and explain their importance. The entire tour was 3 hours long. I feel that it was expensive for what we received, but Salvo did a wonderful job!
