Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain i de peruanska Anderna erbjuder en alternativ upplevelse till det mer välkända Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain. En av de utmärkande egenskaperna hos Palccoyo är att det är mindre besökt av turister, vilket resulterar i en mer fridfull och lugn atmosfär för besökarna. Detta står i kontrast till de ofta trånga stigarna i Vinicunca. Dessutom är vandringen till Palccoyo kortare och anses allmänt vara enklare, och vänder sig till dem som kanske inte vill ha en ansträngande vandring men ändå vill uppleva skönheten i naturliga regnbågsberg. Vi hämtar dig från ditt hotell i Cusco. Om du inte bor på hotell i centrala Cusco kommer vi att hämta dig från Plaza de Armas
Det blir två och en halv timmes bilresa från Cusco. Väl i Checacupe kommer vi att ha lite tid att sträcka på benen och använda toaletter innan vi går in i Palccoyo Community, hem till Rainbow Mountain
Det blir en och en halv timmes bilfärd till Palccoyo. Du kommer att ha tid att njuta av utsikten och tid att interagera med lokalbefolkningen och få en inblick i deras liv. När vi når Palccoyo kommer vår guide att ge dig en detaljerad instruktion om bergets framträdande plats i den andinska mytologin medan du njuter av den orörda utsikten.
Efter rundturen kommer vi att köra dig ner till Checacupe. Här kommer vi att stanna vid en lokal restaurang för lunch.
Vi kommer att ge oss ut på en tre timmars bilresa tillbaka till Cusco. Vi kommer att släppa av dig på Plaza Regocijo, ett kvarter från Cuscos stora torg.

Excellent Service, Very attentive sandro guide along the route, very rich breakfast buffet lunch, one of my best trips
It was a perfect visit, from breakfast, climbing the mountain, lunch and until we were dropped off at the hotel. From the transfer to the mountain you can see very beautiful landscapes, once you leave us at the foot of the mountain the adventure begins. That day we got snow and increased the experience, the guides always kept an eye on us, supported us and did not leave us alone at any time. They gave us the explanation of why mountains have that color. The scenery was magical. It must be mentioned that all the time the guides are taking care of you, they accompany you and do not leave you behind.
Brian is a very attentive and patient guide all throughout our tour. He provided valuable insight and ensured we were all prepared before we commenced our two-hour hike. He helped with our photos and videos. The views are amazing and the experience unforgettable.

Pros: Karen, the tour provider, was fantastic and very responsive with chats. The tour guide was friendly and good at taking pictures It's better option than Rainbow mountain because it's less crowded Cons: The breakfast and lunch were terrible. They limit only 1 a quarter size of egg for breakfast. The lunch was barely edible. It's a bit long to get there. Altitude sickness: Please be aware and bring your oxygen.
Magical and majestic scenery. This was a far superior option to Vinicunca. Palccoyo Mountain had breathtaking views and covered more mountains to see. Jose was phenomenal and checked in on everyone and gave great tips for the tour. Rafael the driver was a master of the complex roads. Lunch buffet was spectacular and hit the spot after a long day. Highly recommend this tour company.

No hassle. The trip went smooth. Tour guides were excellent, they make sure we were all having a good time and took good care of us.
The driver drove very fast and recklessly to get there. After some reflection, he corrected his conduct on the way back. Our violetta guide was great. Visit not to be missed. Allow 10 more soils to make the must-see red valley
We must be clear from the outset for safety and health reasons. This visit is not for everyone, no matter what people think. Do not give credit to Instagram photos and other selfies that make this hike look easy. Quite the opposite. THIS IS A HIGH MOUNTAIN HIKE! 5036 meters of altitude!!! Oxygen is lacking. You need very good physical condition and cardiovascular training before doing this activity. A hiking outfit with good hiking boots are ESSENTIAL! Drink water regularly during the ascent. People overweight, children and people not athletic or too untrained abstain. There is no longer a count of the number of people who feel uncomfortable during this climb or who are forced to use oxygen cylinders. These people put other hikers at risk because they stop in the middle of the trail or run into us! Beautiful mountain that experienced hikers will clearly appreciate.
