Varje onsdag morgon i Vatikanstaten har besökarna den sällsynta möjligheten att bevittna påven Leone XIV under den påvliga audiensen – en kraftfull och rörande upplevelse som blandar tradition, andlighet och kulturell betydelse. Med början omkring 09:30 anländer påven till Petersplatsen och hälsar och välsignar publiken från sin påvemobil, med innerlig uppmärksamhet på barn, sjuka och äldre. Publiken innehåller flerspråkiga hälsningar, korta läror och ett gemensamt recitation av Fader vår på latin, som kulminerar i påvens apostoliska välsignelse, som sträcker sig till alla närvarande, deras nära och kära och alla religiösa föremål som förs för välsignelse. Detta unika evenemang är perfekt för alla – familjer, barn, par och ensamresenärer – som erbjuder ett sällsynt ögonblick av inspiration och kontakt i hjärtat av den katolska kyrkan.

Påvlig audiens hålls på onsdagar om påven är i Rom, vilket ger pilgrimer och besökare chansen att "se påven" och ta emot den påvliga välsignelsen eller den apostoliska välsignelsen från efterträdaren till aposteln Petrus under deras besök.
Petersplatsen är ett av de mest kända torgen i världen, beläget i Vatikanstaten. Designad av Gian Lorenzo Bernini, är det omgivet av imponerande kolonnader och kan välkomna tusentals besökare. Torget står framför Peterskyrkan, vilket gör det till ett stort resmål för både pilgrimer och turister

AVOID. Don’t waste your money on this tour. Obtain general admission tickets and arrive early. The guide did not provide valuable information needed for this event. Once you are in line to enter, as long as it’s early, you will know where to go. People run to the front of the lines. This tour did not provide reserved seating or anything. I am extremely disappointed in this tour.
We are so sorry for this review, but once that you read the inclusions inside our tour, you can see that there’s the private driver with the private pick-up with luxury car at your disposal that picks you up from your staying. Then there’s the private english tour leader during all the tour that explain you all the things to do once that you’re in line and inside the audience. At the end, the tickets are free, but each tickets has his own serial number, so they’re all limited, and the company has the task to go inside the Vatican prefecture to book the tickets for all the customers. Where do I begin? Wow! Wow! Wow! Francesco and Giorgio were simply AMAZING! From the time they picked us up at our apartment, to the gift shop after Pope Leo’s first papal audience, they totally took care of us like family. I cannot explain the experience we had at the first papal address. They helped us get through security seamlessly, then led us to the best seats and kept an eye on our seats and our bags while we watched up close for Pope Leo to travel throughout the crowd. Francesco even captured the best pictures, so we could always remember this monumental day! Totally worth every penny! Just priceless! Thank you for helping our family create memories to last a lifetime!

This was an unbelievable experience! Never would I have believed that I would be standing at the fence to wave at Pope Francis as he was slowly driven past us just a few feet away then sit in the 2nd row for the Mass. Our guide Stephania was wonderful! She took great care of us from the minute she picked us up at our hotel. She made sure we knew what was going on at all times- since everything was going on in Italian! I was also impressed by the colleagues working with her. Everyone seemed dedicated to making sure that we had a great experience. We loved it!
