Vi hämtar dig direkt från ditt hotell i Kairo för en spännande dag som utforskar de berömda platserna i El Fayoum! Det är cirka 95 km bilresa från Kairo till Fayoum. Gör dig redo för en heldagssafari i vår bekväma 4WD som tur runt Wadi Rayan, som har varit ett skyddat område sedan 1989. Vårt äventyr börjar i den vackra Wadi El Rayan, erkänd av UNESCO som ett världsarv tack vare de fantastiska 40 - miljoner år gamla valskelett som finns där. På vägen till de fantastiska vattenfallen Wadi El Rayan stannar vi vid Magic Lake, där du får chansen att prova sandboarding nerför sanddynerna, och sedan besöker vi Mudawara Mountain. Efter det beger vi oss till de hisnande vattenfallen Wadi El Rayan. Wadi El Rayan är en naturlig depression i den västra öknen, med två sjöar förenade av Egyptens enda vattenfall, som skapades 1970 av överflödande vatten från Fayoums jordbruksmarker. Qarounsjön ligger i norra delen av guvernementet Fayoum. Det är ca 20 km norr om Fayoum stad, 80 sydväst om Kairo. är ett av Egyptens rikaste och mest uppskattade naturliga landmärken. Qarunsjön fick sin protektoratsstatus, inte bara på grund av sin uppenbara skönhet och betydelse för fåglar och människor, utan också för sin oöverträffade historiska, naturliga och vetenskapliga betydelse.
Wadi El Rayan-reservatet består av sju delar; de övre och nedre sjöarna , El Rayan-källorna, El Rayan-fallen, El Modawara-berget (eller Jabal El Modawara på arabiska), El Rayan-berget (Jabal El Rayan) och Wadi El Hitan (Valarnas dal). Alla dessa områden är fulla av fantastiska landskap som oaser, berg, klippformationer och vattenfall.
Den lilla byn Tunis (”izbat Tunis”) ligger i oasen Fayoum , på väg till Wadi Rayan. Beläget på en kulle som vetter mot en stor saltvattensjö, har byn en fantastisk utsikt över ökenkanten på andra sidan sjön. Great trip and worth the money! Megoo was a great guide. He told us about everything up front, so there were no surprises and the trip was great. Our driver was also great and knew exactly what he was doing at all times. We highly recommend taking this trip when visiting Cairo
Very poor experience as the tour guide that we had and we picked up in Cairo, had NO IDEA what we were doing and where we were going. Also it was the first time he had been a guide in this area and he specialized in antiquity, which is not the case there either. Our driver was phenomenal, but our tour guide had no idea where we were going and his english was VERY poor. Lastly the restaurant that they suggest is literally ripping you off. The mentioned price is 15$ (for a meal that in Cairo costs 5) , and somehow we ended up paying 30$ each. 60$ for 2 people in Egypt is the steal of the centrury for a plate of food. You should protect your customers as a company arranging these things not taking us to get robbed in broad daylight. Very poor experice in a very nice place.

Excellent guide, good itinerary, I recommend it, we went with the family, super safe, economical, and a good tour guide guided us super well.
The tour covered all the key sites to see at the pyramids, saqquara and Memphis. We also had a nice lunch and visited an papyrus factory with (overpriced) souvenirs. All in all a good tour, however our tour guide wasn't very talkative. He gave a few highlights at each location and otherwise quiet unless probed for more information. That said, he was very gracious in taking several great photos of my mom and I. He took them with his phone camera of better quality and sent me the files. I really appreciated this.
