Upptäck hjärtat och själen i den verkliga staden med denna alternativa rundvandring. Du kommer att besöka fem olika stadsdelar, allt från arbetarklassparadis till boutiqueboulevarder. Du kommer att utforska moderna marknader, gamla murar och allt däremellan på denna roliga, aktiva tur. Vi kommer inte bara att visa dig staden; vi kommer att dela den med dig, i sann tradition av grekisk gästfrihet, upptäcka dolda platser med historier att berätta! Detta är en liten grupptur begränsad till 12 deltagare för att säkerställa att du har din Guides uppmärksamhet och kan ställa frågor efter hand.

Atens centrala torg domineras av det grekiska parlamentet (tidigare det kungliga palatset) och kännetecknas av den höga energinivån som skapas av den ständiga rörelsen av människor genom stadens mest trafikerade vägskäl.
I mer än trekvarts sekel har detta varit det mest exklusiva kvarteret i stadens centrum; tack vare sina banbrytande butiker, chica trottoarkaféer och gourmetrestauranger är det här huvudstadens vackra människor möts, äter och handlar.
Mitt i hjärtat av Aten ligger detta politiskt laddade distrikt känt för sina progressiva sociala idéer och dussintals mycket prisvärda tavernor, barer och snacksbutiker fyllda med universitetsstudenter från närliggande utbildningsinstitutioner.
Psirri var länge ett kvarter där lokala hantverkare arbetade i små butiker, och nu är Psirri en av stadens hetaste nya ställen för kvällsmat och dryck. Det är också ett av de bästa ställena att kolla in stadens senaste gatukonst.
Hadrianus bibliotek, fantastisk gatumat och en underjordisk flod gömd i en tunnelbanestation väntar på dem som kommer till detta antika och loppmarknadsområde på jakt efter ett fynd eller en titt på en av stadens få överlevande ottomanska moskéer.

This tour is a very good way to orient you to the city of Athens and its neighborhoods. Elizabeth gave us a lot of insights into both past and present of the city.
Fun and informative. Simos is an excellent guide and shared insights and perspectives into today’s Greece. I enjoyed our walking tour of various neighborhoods in Athens and hearing about their contribution to the city’s development. CMOS was attentive to the requests and questions of participants and worked hard to accommodate all our needs. I definitely recommend this tour.

This was one of the best tours we have ever been on….the weather today was cloudy, chilly and windy but our guide, Nicholas, made us not think about that!!! Our tour lasted over 4 hours and we visited areas that we would never have seen on our own….highly recommend booking this tour if given the opportunity!!!!
This tour was a great high level overview to understand how Greece got to be in the position it is in today. We visited parts of the inner city we probably wouldn't have on our first visit to Athens - some of it a bit posh, and other parts more confronting - and this made it interesting. Andreas is an excellent guide. He takes the time to explain things clearly and answer questions. He is very passionate about the subject matter and his country. We enjoyed this experience and it helped us to see Athens through a different lens. I recommend this tour.
