Outdoor Escape Room i Boston - North End

Did this as a family with 2 teens, and everyone had fun! Highly recommend to families with hard impress teens.

To celebrate my adult child’s birthday, we worked as spies to solve the North End Escapely game. We had fun working together and learned some fun facts about our history. I highly recommend this game if you want to do something active, clever with little or no technology!

Had a blast! My girlfriend and I took about 2 hours to finish this, it was always relatively challenging but never to the point of frustration. Very fun!

I did this with my 12 and 14 year old. It was a great family activity! The clues are challenging but the hints were really helpful. I loved how the items in the box really helped you interact with the real life things around you. It even introduced me to great sculptures I had never noticed before. We were also able to take breaks and enjoy gelato, the swings and grab a quick dinner At Fanuiel hall. It’s hard to find family activities with teens and this was a winner for us. The cards/activities in the box are so well done. Can’t wait to grab the other box and looking forward to more adventures being released!

We took our grandson on this tour for his 10th birthday and it was so much fun! The North End was great and the weather was beautiful. The special box of clues was terrific and my grandson really enjoyed the tie-in with the phone. We appreciated the history sprinkled in and loved our North End lunch break! Planning to do the Beacon Hill version soon!

We had an amazing time with the Boston - North End. A couple of serious wins for this company. 1. We originally bought a different city but upon arriving, decided to change our vacation plans to include Boston. The customer service was incredible as they made the switch happen for us which was a huge help. They really went out of their way to accommodate. 2. We chose the Challenging game mode due to our experience with escape rooms we’ve done in the past and even a few we’ve built as well. We had an amazing time. The storyline incorporated with the real life puzzles were very well put together. I was concerned that the puzzles would be too easy and we’d blow right through it. Not so. The difficulty level was perfect for “challenge mode” and each location took some brain power to figure out the puzzles. In the game, you are given several potential helps for each puzzle, with varying levels to those. Kuddos to this team for knocking this one out of the park, both in gameplay and customer service. This is a great way to have fun while seeing parts of the city. We won’t forget our first time in Boston. The entire game took about 2.5 hours with a couple of stops along the way to take a short break. We will play again.

It was great! Very well done puzzles for adults and even my kids loved it. Great way to see the city and get the family active outside. We will do more Escapely adventures for sure!

For my daughter’s 14th bday, we did this Boston adventure with her younger brother and one of her friends. Our little group enjoyed solving the clues together- everyone contributed in their own way and it was so much fun piecing the clever clues together. If we got stuck, we were able to get as much help as we needed from the clues- we really did need help once, and it pretty much spelled it out for us so we could keep our momentum going. For my part, I made sure the kids knew we could always come back for a “round 2” - but they wanted to finish, and we had our little victory celebration in Boston. Walking around on our mission together, looking carefully at places I’d only partially seen before, was a great way to explore the North End, and a great way to spend a day! We hope to do more of these adventures in the future!

Overall, we had a great time with the game. I used it as a low-cost team building outing for a group of 25 people, 7 of whom had traveled to Boston from overseas. We broke into 5 teams of 5, each team with our own box, and "raced" in a friendly competition. At the end of the day, my management heaped praise on my choice of Escapely because it kept everyone engaged, built camaraderie, and allowed our international guests to spend time in a great part of Boston.

Fun, more challenging than expected (In a good way) and got us to explore some key tourist spots in Boston! I really enjoyed it!
