Very informative and fun. We had a party of 10 plus a baby plenty room for all. Reasonably priced as well!
We did the Rideau Canal Cruise on a Saturday morning, and it was one of the best parts of the trip. Gliding along the canal gives you a completely different view of the city than walking around does, calm, scenic, and relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. One tip: if you want the discount bracelet for local restaurants and attractions, you won't get it on the boat anymore. You need to grab it at one of the Greyline kiosks (specifically the red one) on Elgin and Sparks St. If you're visiting Ottawa, don't skip this one. It's a genuine must-do, not just a nice-to-have.
The trip was about 90-100 minutes long, the first half of this is guided. The views are pretty and the pace relaxing. I had taken the river cruise the day before and much preferred this. My only issue was that the seating packs people in like sardines. I arrived early and was about 20th in the queue, however, by the time we were due to board, the latecomers had started a second queue but were allowed to board concurrently. This meant that limited seating was available by the time I boarded. I took a spot at the front facing sideways which meant I had difficulty seeing anything behind me. Then a family sat next to me but were short a seat so I moved forward. This seat faced the wall of the bar so I could see nothing described on the right and had to crane my next 180 degrees to see anything on the left. This particular seat should not be there or should be discounted. I have rated the cruise rather than the seat.
We really enjoyed the views, commentary, and background music.

Excellent location & amenities -could walk to the old town & market area. Numerous restaurants nearby. Parking a bit of a struggle - had to walk blocks to park & got a ticket in loading zone area b/c it was occupied by violators - not monitored by hotel staff.
Overall great tour. Cam did a great job with the commentary in French and English and with answering tourist questions. My only feedback would be maybe add some additional signage or description to the meet up location as there were several of us that went to multiple locations trying to find the correct meet up location.
Our guide Cam was outstanding! Very informative, knowledgeable and very professional!
My only issue is that parking in Ottawa is a challenge. Just be prepared to find a place or space. The tour was incredible.
