Känd för sina fantastiska vyer och djupa religiösa betydelse, lockar den besökare från hela världen som söker fred, helande och inspiration. 2. Ostrogklostret och Niagarafallen Förutom Ostrogklostret inkluderar detta alternativ ett stopp vid Niagarafallen nära Podgorica – en charmig naturplats där floden Cijevna svämmar över breda, grunda klippor. 3. Ostrog kloster, huvudattraktion, och Skadar Lake båttur med Niagara vattenfall, present från oss till dig. Detta alternativ är för dem som letar efter en halvdagstur (6 timmar) och mer natur underverk runt Podgorica stad,... Observera : I juli kan fallen vara torra, valfritt stopp kanske inte är tillgängligt. Obs! Söndagar är oftast mer fullsatta, men särskilt den 12 maj, som är klostrets festdag.

En av de mest besökta ortodoxa klostren i världen och den viktigaste ortodoxa heliga platsen i Montenegro, belägen mot en nästan vertikal bakgrund, högt uppe i Ostroška Gredas stora berg i Montenegro. Det är tillägnad Sankt Basilika Ostrog, som begravdes här. Den består av två delar - de övre och nedre klostren. I övre, klostret hålls Saint Basil av Ostrogs reliker. Saint Basil är klostrets grundare Från klostret kan man se en fantastisk utsikt över Bjelopavlići-slätten. Troende från hela världen kommer hit för att be för deras älskade och deras egna hälsa. Klostret grundades på 1700-talet men renoverades på 20-talet.
En av de mest utvalda platserna att se i Podgorica, huvudstaden i Montenegro, är Niagara vattenfall, en del av kanjon floden Cijevna. Dessa vattenfall byggdes för 150 år sedan för behoven hos den kvarn där mjöl brukade malas. Idag är det en turistattraktion och storslagen naturscen, där vatten bryter igenom stenarna och skapar en scen för ett vykort. På grund av de smala passagerna, stora klipporna och de stora vingårdssträckorna är Niagarafallen en av de vackraste i Montenegro. I alternativ med Skadarsjön (alternativ 3) är vattenfallsstoppet kompletterande så påverkar inte priset. Ha så kul.

High-level tour, the driver/guide 'Kimi' was very capable and quick, accompanying us at every stop and providing the best advice; it was an excellent choice to rely on them, I highly recommend it, 5 stars.

An interesting walk. The monastery is worth visiting. The waterfalls and the lake are impressive, although the incessant rain did not allow for full enjoyment.

Dimitrije picked us up from our hotel with a big smile and answered all our questions along the way and gave lots of information. He allowed us time to explore on our own as well and we found lots to talk about. The Monastery and Falls are definitely worth seeing and we would recommend this tour and company to anyone. Vladimir picked us up from our hotel in Kotor on time and was an amazing tour guide the whole day. He made our 2 hr trip to Ostrog feel like 30 minutes. He is so informational about his country.
The guide was good. However I thought I had booked an activity with Ostrog Monastery, Skadar Lake, Niagara Falls,Virpazar city for 225 euros for two. Apparently the falls were dry which I can understand. And when the guide contacted someone from the agency I had apprently only booked the monastery.... It’s strange because my ticket was Ostrog and water falls Niagara I therefore find that 225 euros was expensive to visit a monastery only…. Be carefull with the program when you do the réservation…

Our guide was on time, informed us of the day, was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was patient with our groups pace (knee injuries) which was appreciated. Overall, good tour of the specific spots.
Had somewhat mixed feelings about giving this tour a five as was leaning towards a four the guide made that pretty clear. A few things why I thought it was not a five. While we had a private tour when it came to the boat ride it was not private, we had another couple join us. Also the "Niagara" was not really worth it as it added unnecessary time, as the trip to the Monastery is pretty long and was more of a point of the tour. The guide on the other hand was absolutely amazing and not to mention his driving skills and knowledge of both history and the surroundings.
The tour was excellent. We had a friendly tour guide that joked around with us, understood us and was very informative. Our needs were accommodated and we appreciate that.
