Spencer truly gave an overview of Oslo. He was very knowledgeable answered all of our questions. We truly got the vibes of the city.
Our guide Spence was excellent; knowledgeable, easy going adaptable and just nice to stroll around Oslo with. He ticked off the big ticket items, gave us a good oversight and then the level and depth of information was basically at our discretion, he was quite happy to cover a wide range of general Norwegian topics. He provided some follow up advice about restaurants which we really appreciated. It was just a great way to get a feel for Oslo on day one.
Firstly, the company was very accomodating in moving our tour back 24 hours as our train was delayed and we were very thankful. On the day the weather was very rainy and our guide pulled out with a personal issue and we were told to be replaced - which was fine. Our new guide was a very nice guy who moved to Oslo from the Ukraine 3 years ago - we enjoyed his company but this was an English speaking tour and English for him was a challenge - we struggled to understand him and he understood none of our questions - this is not his fault at all…but the tour company who, of course, have ignored our complaint. In the end we had an expensive stroll around some key parts of the city (not the Palace where we were supposed to finish!) and learned not much at all. Be aware of this - I’m sure this is not a usual experience and we wait for a response from the company which may mirror the tour - disappointing!!!
Dear customer, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. While the original guide had to withdraw due to an unforeseen personal emergency, we arranged a replacement so the tour could still take place. We also note your comment that your complaint was ignored; however, we always review and respond to customer concerns through the appropriate booking channel. We appreciate your comments regarding the guide's communication and the itinerary, and these have been shared with our local team for review. Guest feedback is important to us, and we continuously work to maintain the quality of our tours. Have a nice day!
Our guide was Penny and she was wonderful. Took her time to explain things and we didn’t feel rushed. She is a wonderful lady.
This was an utterly amazing tour. We met our guide, Penny, in the middle of a downpour and discovered that everyone else had canceled, leaving us with a private tour. Given that another tour later in our vacation had already been canceled due to low participation, we were very grateful she still took us around town. Our tour took us to all the spots mentioned in the listing. The library was breathtaking, and Penny's descriptions of how it reflects life in Oslo really brought the town to life for us. She had plenty of stories and history to share, and she really made us feel at home in the city. Little touches - like being able to ring the bell in the harbor - made this so much more than just a tour - it felt like a homecoming. We wholeheartedly recommend this this experience to anyone wanting to experience Oslo with just a short time to do it. It was by far the best of 7 tours we took during our cruise and we are already wanting to go back. Thanks, Penny!
Penny was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about Norway and Oslo.
The tour exceeded expectations, engaging, informative, and well-organized throughout.
Amazing experience in Oslo! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and shared interesting facts that made the trip even more enjoyable, and her friendly, warm behavior made us feel very comfortable throughout. I’d highly recommend this advisor to anyone visiting—overall, a truly memorable experience!
The tour was great. The guide was fun and knew everything about Oslo and how Norwegian life is. It took just over two hours to see all the most important sites in Oslo. In that short time, I feel like a got to know the city and see what life in Oslo is like. Highly recommend!
I had such a wonderful experience joining a walking tour in Oslo! It was the perfect way to explore the city, especially if you want to get a real feel for its history, culture, and hidden corners. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience engaging and fun. I loved how the tour combined important landmarks with interesting stories and local insights that you wouldn’t easily discover on your own. Oslo is a beautiful city, and walking through its streets with someone who truly knows it makes all the difference. It felt personal, relaxed, and very informative at the same time. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oslo — whether it’s your first time or not. It’s a great way to connect with the city and see it from a different perspective!
