Haystack Rock (327 ft) fjärde högsta havet stack off-shore monolith i världen. Cape Kiwanda sanddyner den högsta sanddynen på Stilla havet i Oregon 240 meter hög. Historisk doryflotta lanserar och landar båtar från stranden.
Cape Mears fyr byggdes 1890. Bläckfiskträdet (även kallat rådet träd, mödronträdet och kandelabronträdet) antas vara ungefär 250 till 300 år gammalt. Träet i sig sträcker sig från en central bas som ligger nästan 50 meter runt, och i stället för att skjuta rakt upp med en centralt bagage delas trädets kropp i ett antal mindre strumpor.

We booked this tour as a shore excursion from a Pacific Northwest Cruise. This was a great way to see a lot of points of interest in a very short time and we didn't have to deal with the typical cruise ship tour crowds! Thank you for a great experience.

This is the rare sort of tour where the level of personalization and insider knowledge demands someone who has the Oregon coast in their bloodline. Charlie Royster *is* that guide. We spent six hours with him and the warm and friendly Lisa, learning more about the unique flora of the coast and ht ehistory of the area. Charlie makes you feel like family, pointing out locations and adding local stories that makes the area vividly come alive. He took us to Drift Creek Falls, and had packed water and snacks. He showed us Munson Creek Falls, took us along the Three Capes Scenic Route, pointed out hidden gems such as the sitka spruce Octopus tree and only-locals-know secret beaches and got us back in one piece with our imagination aflame. Highly recommend and hope to see him again next time we're back!
Charlie gave us a tour of things that only locals know about - starting with a van ride on the sand to checking out "Sand Lake," Octopus Tree, secret path to spectacular coastal view, not to mention Jacobsen Salt Factory, fresh oysters at the warehouse, Tillamook Cheese Factory, and more! Cannot recommend Charlie more highly for a truly special Oregon experience!
