Denna turné erbjuder ett unikt perspektiv på vad som hände under andra världskriget och det tjeckoslovakiska motståndet. Punkterna är noga utvalda för att visa ett mycket annorlunda och verkligt Prag med dess kommunistiska utkant. Trabantbilar är klassiska socialistiska fordon och det finns bara få städer i Europa som kör turer i den här typen av fordon. Den här är speciell eftersom den kopplar samman historien om och absolut tapperhet hos patrioter som gjorde motstånd mot både fascism och kommunism men också oväntat förrådda från den närmaste. Turnén är privat och låts av reseledare som är licensierad men också en entusiastisk passionerad patriot som värdesätter minnet av lokala hjältar. Turer för 2-3 personer anordnas i antingen Trabant 601, 1-3 personers nya Skodabil, 4 och fler i minibuss eller buss!

Engelsktalande entusiastisk reseguide kommer att visa kunderna runt St. Cyril och Methodius-katedralen, punkt på plats där kroppar placerades för identifiering efter att striden var över, besöka kryptan där det finns en utställning med artefakter och foton och förklara allt som hände här den 18 juni 1942.
Engelsktalande guide kommer att ta med klienterna till St. Cyril och Methodius katedralen för att visa klienterna intressanta punkter, var den sista striden ägde rum och hemligt inträde till kryptan samt hur den nazistiska armén tog sig ner för att krypta i sista minuter. På motsatta sidan av huvudentrén finns en traditionell tjeckisk pub som heter "At the Fallskärmsjägare" där varje turnédeltagare får en traditionell shot av Becherovka-sprit.
Kunder kommer att köras till Dablice-kyrkogården för att besöka massgraven för tjeckoslovakiska patrioter som mördades av nazister.
Kobylisy skjutbana är där många tjeckoslovakiska patrioter från motståndet sköts av nazister i dessa dagar, ett minnesmärke över dess offer. Engelsktalande reseguide kommer att berätta mycket unika och intressanta historier om andra para-grupper och personer i motståndet, om mindre vet men ändå extremt modiga handlingar och deras absoluta engagemang för att stå emot nazistregimen!
Kunder kommer att köras nära Operation Anthropoid Memorial, där mordet på Heydrich ägde rum den 27 maj 1942. Engelsktalande guide kommer inte bara att visa kunder runt och gamla bilder hur den ökända Heydrich-kurvan såg ut på den tiden, utan också ta dig till en gömd härlig lokal pub för en pint tjeckiskt traditionellt öl. Efter uppfriskande kommer kunderna att köras tillbaka till stadens centrum.
På väg tillbaka till stadens centrum kommer klienter att passera Bulovkasjukhuset i Prag 8, dit Heydrich fördes direkt efter mordförsöket och där han också dog den 4 juni 1942.

We did the WWII Operation Anthropoid tour in Prague with Otto. He was absolutely outstanding — so passionate about the subject and able to keep it fascinating throughout, even in the cold weather. Otto brought history to life, showing us the exact places where key events happened and then sharing historic photos so we could truly imagine what it looked like under German occupation. The visit to the crypt, where the parachutists made their last stand and tried to dig their way to freedom, was incredibly moving. Also was the story of the lady who while interned at a concentration camp made sure the children had drawing materials and then stashed their drawings in a suitcase. You can see these drawings in Prague today. Otto’s storytelling was clear, detailed, and full of energy — my 16-year-old son was completely captivated, as were we all. Otto really made this tour what it was. Suggestion: With winter coming, it might be nice to begin the tour in a nearby coffee house — perhaps even charge a little more to include a drink — so Otto can give the initial 20 minutes of background somewhere warm before heading out. This tour delivered a LOT for the price.
I did two tours with Martina. Both were great. One was a full-day Operation Anthropoid tour that included a visit to Lidice where I saw the location of the destroyed former town and the nearby resurrected town built in 1949. I met a daughter of a woman who survived the massacre and deportation to a German work camp. I also saw relevant sites in Prague including the Cathedral Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius. An excellent tour with an excellent guide for this history buff. The second tour was a shorter tour - around 2-3 hours. We visited Vyšehrad and walked around the castle grounds and had a coffee at the end of our visit. It was like having a friend show me around the grounds. Martina was kind enough to drop me off at the Army Museum at the end of the tour. I was very pleased with my time spent with Martina, and it was well worth the cost. She is very personable and very interested in sharing the history of Prague, but also in sharing how people live in Prague, the Czech Republic, and neighboring Slovakia. An excellent guide!

Spending the day with Martina was like being shown around by an old friend. She is so lovely and very knowledgeable. We had an amazing day with good food thrown in. Martina told us so much history that we wouldn't have otherwise known. Highly recommend this tour as a must do when you visit Prague.

Again. Martina delivered a great tour. We opted for the Operation Anthropoid. I’d recommend watching the film if you decide to go. Anyway it was great way to spend several hours in Prague and learn about this incredible piece of history. I honestly had no idea of the incredible bravery that each and every one of these men carried out. Truly humbling.
