Dhruv made my day in Delhi so memorable. I have many stories tied to moments from our time wandering the markets, sampleing street food and taking in sights all over the place. From the crowed spice makret to the tops of buildings for a bird's eye view and lots of allyways inbetween - this is an expereince not to miss and Dhurv is the guide you want to show you the way. He points out the little things happening around you like the father and son stringing beads to make malas. You'll enter temples and mosques through ornate doorways. You'll get a feel for what the old Haveli's could have once been.And you'll end the tour so full of the many street foods you've tried and fuller yet from all your eyes, ears and other senses have taken in.
We had a great time with Verun. We learned so much and sampled the best foods. We would highly recommend this tour!
If you don't do anything else in Delhi do this walking tour of Old Delhi with Dhruv Gupta. You experience an incredible way of life up close and personal combined with a visit to a beautiful haveli and served delicious food with grace. Thank you for your hospitality.
Dhruv was a fantastic guide - a local of Old Delhi, with extensive knowledge of the area and its history. He will take you to amazing, clean street food locations as well different historic and cultural sites that make up Old Delhi, allowing you to understand fully this neighbourhood. To top it off, you get to see the Haveli, or old city mansion, where he lives, capping the walk in a very memorable and personal way. I highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Delhi, it's well worth it.

We spent wonderful hours with our guide in Old Delhi: He was a local, frequently knew the people we saw and we got to know them as well. It was a one of a kind experience that made me see Old Delhi with new eyes. The street food, the chai and especially the food in Dhruv´s haveli were extraordinary. I am certain that there is no other way to really get to see and at least in parts understand what Old Delhi is and how it functions. For a European traveller it can be quite overwhelming but once somebody explains certain things, you start to see and to understand. A unique experience. I will certainly take all my friends on this tour in the future.

From the very start, our guide, Varun, was very warm and genuine, providing a perfect balance of learning and experiencing. A great insight to culture, experiencing things you never have the opportunity to by yourself. An opportunity to taste some of the best street food, safe in the knowledge they are using good ingredients and hygiene. Varun was, as he said from the start, a real friend, yet also protective to ensure we were always comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone. Truely my highlight of Delhi! Dhanyawad!!
