Odyssey Boat Safari från Larnaca
Beskrivning
En andetagskryssning, som ingen annan! Vi börjar dagen från Larnaca Marina och huvudet först för att titta på Zenobia skeppsbrottet, ett av de 10 bästa vrak i världen. Sedan seglar vi till Cape Pyla och slutar simma. Passagerare kan beundra de spännande grottorna de vackra röda klipporna och invånarnas områden av havsörnar. Vi seglar till Cape Greco som passerar Love Bridge. Därefter kommer vi att närma oss en kedja av havgrottor, kallade Pirate Caves, som de användes i antiken av pirater och smugglare. Klockan 13:00 kan alla passagerare njuta av vår läckra Cypernbuffert med aptitretande hemlagade lokala rätter och grill. Vidare efter kustlinjen mot Protaras flyttar vi som stänger när vi får Famagusta och vi får information om Ghost City där man kan få en glimt av den turkiska ockuperade staden. Båttur slutar i Protaras och återvänds till Larnaca med buss.

Vi börjar dagen från Larnaca Marina och åker först mot Zenobia-skeppsbrottet.
Simma och snorkla på Zenobia, ett av de 10 bästa skeppsvrakarna i världen. Zenobia är en svensk lastfärja som sjönk 1980. Passagerare kan simma och snorkla för att se närmare fartyget och se dykare dyka till vraket.
Passera från en av Cyperns vackraste stränder
Vi beger oss till Cape Greco, passerar den naturliga steniga kärleksbron och vi närmar oss Pirate Caves, ett komplex av havsgrottor som användes i gamla tider av pirater och smugglare (därav namnet).
Simma och fotostoppa vid de pittoreska havsgrottorna och den blå lagunen
Vidare efter kustlinjen mot Protaras rör vi oss så nära som vi får till Famagusta och vi kommer att få information om Spökstaden där man kommer att kunna få en glimt av Spökstaden.
Slut på kryssningen vid den gyllene kusten och busstransfer tillbaka till startpunkten

No fish to be seen at 3 swimming spots. The food was good, music ok, but swimming was restricted to right next to the boat. We enjoyed the colors of the water, but overall the tour was disappointing.
The boat departed from Larnaca marina. This was a nice trip however, it took quite a long time to sail to each place. The first stop was a shipwreck and the closest; there were other boats there with divers so didn’t see anything. Next was a long sail to the next swim stop -almost an hour. No scenery to look at, just open sea or the distant coastline. Swim stop was good; life jackets provided if you want it. After that our next stop was to see the caves but we could not get into the water here, only take photos from our boat. Thd scenery was nice though and the guide told stories about the caves. The next stop was at Blue Lagoon where we saw one turtle swimming in the sea. I went into the sea with my snorkel and when I looked up, I was so far away from the boat because the water was rough and I really struggled to swim back to the boat. At one point I got a bit panicked as every time I took a breath, I was pushed back further away from the boat. I finally managed to swim back but let me tell you, it took everything I had - the sea was so choppy. When I did get back, I was exhausted and decided never again. Hence I didn’t get in the water again! The food provided for lunch was buffet style with plenty of choice and very tasty. They also bought round fresh watermelon for a snack. The guide was very informative and friendly. They dropped us off at the end of the trip at a different marina and we had to transfer to smaller boats to get back to shore.

An interesting route, but this boat on a Sunday was horrendously over-crowded. Swim stops were too short given the number of people trying to enter/exit the water. Food fine (but free wine awful). Over-priced at 75 euros.
DO THIS TRIP.👌 10/10…very well organised . A lovely bbq chicken with a wide selection of rice salads etc for lunch. A few stops along the way and a chance to Swim in crystal clear water .. optional. And you never know you may be joined by unexpected guest — dolphins . Pretty special moment. And turtles are around in turtle Bay.
This was an amazing experience. It exceeded our expectations. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We saw a dolphin and a sea turtle. The swim spots were on point. Definitely worth it.
It was not the boat that was advertised in the pictures. But in the end the staff in the boat ensured that I had a good time.
I would highly recommend this trip. We had a lovely day. There was enough room for everyone to have a seat or lounger. It was well organised with a free bar for local wines, soft drinks, and the local spirit of Cyprus. The music and dancing were fun and the lunch was delicious. We even swam with turtles. We felt it was great value for money.
