NYC: Tågresa med Sleepy Hollow och gångväg över Hudson

Vår tur börjar i Midtowns centrum. Från Grand Central tar vi Metro North upp till Tarrytown och Sleepy Hollow. Där kommer vi att utforska detta historiska område och du kommer att lära dig om dess mest kända invånare: Washington Irving. Spåra Ichabod Cranes och Huvudlösa Ryttarens väg. Vi besöker den gamla holländska begravningsplatsen och kyrkan. Efter en kort kaffe- och bakelsepaus tar vi en majestätisk tågresa upp till Poughkeepsie där du får uppleva flodens nya juvel, Walkway Over the Hudson. Vi kommer att ta en kort hisstur till toppen där du kommer att få otrolig utsikt. Därifrån tar vi tåget tillbaka till Hudson Highlands där vi besöker den charmiga byn Cold Spring. Du kommer att uppleva utsikt över West Point och de skira klipporna i Storm King. Turen slutar här, men din dag behöver inte sluta- tillbringa dagen här eller gå till en annan stad!

Få en överblick över en av de mest historiska järnvägsstationerna i USA. Vi kommer att titta på stjärnorna i stora salen. Därefter besöker vi viskningsgalleriet.
Upptäck Tarrytown, en naturskön by precis längs Hudson. Tarrytown har gjort ett fantastiskt jobb med att föra floden till folket. Se fantastisk utsikt över Tappan Zee och Sleepy Hollow-fyren.
Sleepy Hollow in Autumn är olik någon annan stad i Amerika. Här kommer att besöka platser som gjorts kända av Washington Irvings episka berättelse, The Legend of Ichabod Crane. Vi kommer att besöka Headless Horseman Bridge and Monument och Old Dutch Church och dess kyrkogård.
Efter en tågresa för åldrarna anländer vi till Poughkeepsie för att besöka Hudsonflodens kanske största pärla, Walkway Over the Hudson. Vi kommer att föras bort via hiss 300 meter till toppen av gångvägen och uppleva hisnande utsikt över floden och Hudson Valley. Gäster på tidigare turer har uppgett att Walkway är en av de mest fantastiska platser de någonsin har varit.
Efter en naturskön tur på Metro North kommer vi fram till Cold Spring, en vacker by i Hudson Highlands. Landskapet är fantastisk och staden erbjuder bra antik shopping och ställen att få en bit mat. Härifrån kan du bege dig tillbaka till New York, stanna kvar och utforska Cold Spring, eller bege dig till en annan stad längs floden!

Me and my son had an amazing time on this trip! This tour is a nice addition to the NYC long weekend, taking a daybreak from the city rush.
