TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Viator did not provide correct address to concert. Went to location our pre-paid tickets had. No event was being conducted there. Highly unprofessional service by Viator
The tenors are wonderful as was the quintet, but the program promised 90 minutes and it ended in 60 minutes. Literally the entire audience was wondering if it ended or it was an intermission. Even the old Italian gentleman sitting right next to us asked me "finito?" I think the performers were confused because they bowed and thinking we would be asking for an encore, which surely we would have if we only knew. The entire fault lies in the program organizers. We watched their production of La Traviata which was wonderful. For the NYE performance we paid twice as much and got half as little.
A less than impressive venue, a lot smaller than promoted with uncomfortable crowded seating. One tenor lost his voice. The show was truncated. Jingle Bells with Italian accents was cringeworthy. Thankfully the musicians were wonderful. Should have been called ‘The Three Badly Dressed Tenors’. Feel totally ripped off.
We went to this charming, uplifting concert on a whim - and it turned out to be the most magical way to begin 2023. The musicians and the singers were all enormously gifted, worthy of a bigger venue; but the beautiful church was the perfect setting. The show left us breathless and on our feet in gratitude. We loved the gorgeous arias they chose and the tenors' magnificent, strong voices brought us to tears of joy. The enchanting versions of Christmas carols made us smile and beg for more. Truly a memorable, out-of-this world experience. Tears of joy, for sure.
Wow! We are so glad you truly enjoyed our concert! We hope to see you again in Rome :)
Wonderful concert with incredible acoustics. We loved the combination of the string quartet, coupled with the vocal performance. It was also nice to have a smaller audience so the performance felt more intimate. Highly recommend.
Thank you! So happy you loved the concert!
We took our 2 teens to this at the last minute on New Year’s Eve and we all loved it! The quartet and two opera singers were amazing and to experience it in Rome was very special. Recommend!
Thank you so much! We hope to see you again at one of our concerts!
Absolutely amazing experience when it got started , it was half an late due to chairs still being put out and we had no champagne toast at the end however the performance was out of this world it was intimate and simple divine worth every penny , Covid checks were in place and you felt safe perfect way to spend New Year’s Eve in Rome
Thank you a lot!
This event began with a long queue to enter the venue. They didn't open the doors until the stated starting time of 9 pm so the concert began 45 minutes late. The venue was drab -- not one of the prettier churches in that section of Rome -- and the lighting was harsh. Most importantly, the vocal performances were sub-par. The men were not hitting the crescendo notes of even the most well-known pieces. And why, why, do they think we want to hear I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas?? We left early.
Hello! We are sad you were unhappy with the concert. However the doors weren't opened late and this is the only complaint we have received. It is also the first time we got such negative feedback on singers. We hope you can come back and be satisfied with the show!
The concert itself was good but I felt the organisation could have been better, we were charged €45 each for the tickets which was stated as being VIP but were seated about 5 rows from the back and we were not offered the glass of Prosecco as advertised, we also had to queue for about 30minutes just to be admitted and there were no bathroom facilities at all. These are all small things but on New Years Eve it took the shine off the evening itself.
Dear Keith we are sorry about what you reported. As you can see on our product the vip ticket includes 3rd 4th and 5th row. And according to the covid legislation it was forbidden to serve prosecco and it was marked with signs at the entrance. Cheers, Opera e Lirica
