NY (LLT äkta produkt) Från ditt hotell i Beirut, med ett leende du plockas upp på morgonen klockan 08:15 för en bilresa till ditt första måste-se-stopp, har du nästan 1,15 timmar att utforska de berömda JEITA GROTTOS vilket är ett system med två separata, men sammankopplade, karstiska kalkstengrottor som sträcker sig över en total längd på nästan 10 kilometer.
Sedan fortsätter du till ditt nästa viktiga besök, den betydande fantastiska Jungfru Maria-statyn i HARISSA-bil över hela berget, du kommer att utforska panoramautsikten över JOUNIEH-bukten och en massa vacker natur,
Sedan kommer du att njuta av åkningen av huvudlinbanan från Harissa till Jounieh där den erfarna föraren väntar på dig för att fortsätta till ditt nästa viktiga besök i byblos eller om linbanan är stängd så att du fortsätter med fordon.
När du börjar din 1,5-timmars rundtur på det betydande läget på UNESCO: s världsarvslista i den vackra fönikiska staden BYBLOS, som är en av de äldsta kontinuerligt bebodda städerna i världen, kommer du att njuta av promenaderna vid marinasidan som slipper till slottet och souken.
Då har du möjlighet att gå in i Crusader-slottet i Byblos, som det var känt som slottet Gibelet, det ligger intill den fönikiska arkeologiska platsen som innehåller ruinerna av templet i Baalat Gebal och templet för obeliskerna. Slottet var byggd av korsfararna på 1100-talet från inhemsk kalksten och resterna av romerska strukturer. Den färdiga strukturen var omgiven av en vallgrav. Det tillhörde genosese Embriaco-familjen, vars medlemmar var Gibelets herrar. Saladin fångade staden och slottet 1188 och demonterade delvis väggarna 1190. Senare återvände korsfararna Byblos och återuppbyggde slottets befästningar 1197. År 1369 fick slottet avskräcka en attack från cypriotiska fartyg från Famagusta. Byblos slott har utmärkt historiska byggnader för grannar. I närheten finns några egyptiska tempel, den fönikiska kungliga nekropolen och den romerska amfiteatern.
Efter slottet kommer du in i den gamla souken av Byblos, som är en gammal marknad där du kan köpa från många lokala butiker antikviteter, souvenirer, lokalt hantverk och diverse andra varor, det är en av de bästa platserna i Libanon-verksamheten och souk är aldrig tom för människor. Det finns också mysiga barer och kaféer ströda längs promenaden. Det är också relativt litet och värt en promenad runt för att upptäcka de olika gränderna och antika platserna eftersom det här är en plats du aldrig får tillräckligt med. Den här delen av staden är en samling gamla murar (några medeltida) överlappande egenskaper och spännande halva -ruiner.
Då kommer du till en traditionell restaurang för att få din libanesiska mat från Medelhavet.
Efter din lunch kommer din erfarna förare att åka till Beirut där han släpper dig på din plats.

I had big expectations for the tour and Harake, the driver, achieved to meet all of them and even more. He is a very attentive person with a lot of historical knowledge about the places we visited who made the tour. This tour definitely worths it and I strongly recommend it! The tour is great, we had a great experience and the guide Harake made everything possible for us to enjoy ythe day. Very detailed explanation in the grotto which also helped us notice things which we would have otherwise missed. 100% recommended.

What an amazing, well spent day :) It started by having traditional lebanese breakfast from a bakery, eating it on the way to Jeita Grotto with a beautiful view to the mountains, experiencing nature’s charms in the Grottos, observing the breathtaking view of Harissa, having fun around Byblos and finishing with some tips from the guide. Great tour, Harake was a lovely driver and guide. We could focus completely on enjoying the sights and the experience while he took warmly care of us. Harake could answer any kind of questions we would have - from historical to practical things. We did the all inclusive tour, pre-paid for the sights and the food, and I believe that was a good option in order to avoid waiting times and discussions about currencies. Can only recommend both Lebanon Local Tour as a company and Harake as your driver/guide. We also had very lovely company in the other couple joining the tour, a fun way to meet new people - and because of them we also got to visit Batroun, and try the local lemonade!
