Du kommer att höra om fantastiska ställen att vin och äta i städernas bästa gastrobarer och restauranger och höra en beskrivning av var Belfast kom ifrån och få en bakgrund om hur perioden som kallas problem är en del av Belfasts födelse. Du kommer att höra om dess tidigare historia, dess nuvarande innovation och framtida ombyggnad. Och sedan gav vi oss iväg för att upptäcka några av platserna och människorna du just har lärt dig om i introduktionen till turnén. Vi passerar Titanic Memoral Garden när vi strosar in i linnekvarteret för att nå vårt nästa stopp.

Det är hört att du kommer att höra om utvecklingen av Memorial Garden till den ödesdigra HMS Titanic.
Vi kommer in på de små smala gatorna, där Belfast föddes. Och hör om de upproriska lokalbefolkningen som The United Irishmen, och se massor av Street Art som berättar historien från dess födelse. Och där nu lokalbefolkningen och besökare umgås i deras många gastrobarer och resturanger.
När vi når skulpturen Beacon of Hope. Hör om dess innebörd och upptäck vad som finns längre ner i laganfloden som Big Fish och Gateway till Titanic Quarter.
När vi passerar Big Fish kommer du att höra om dess historia skriven på dess våg.. Och strosa vidare mot Cathedral Quarter. Tittar på Titanic-kvarteret. Bara 15 minuters promenad på andra sidan floden.
Och det är i Cathedral Quarter vi kommer att se mer av den internationella och lokala gatukonsten. Hör om hur Belfast och dess människor går samman i fred och försoning
När vi går runt katedralen kommer du att höra om dess konstruktion och höra om utveckling som nu sker i detta område.
Och det är här vi avslutar din introduktion till Belfast på St. Annes Square. A Square beskrivs som Belfasts svar på en europeisk Plaza med dess många restauranger och lägenheter ovan.

A first visit to Belfast with my partner I was fortunate to find myself on an in depth walking tour with the Marti Way. What an experience. A font of historical knowledge, Marti tailored our tour to give a true sense of Belfast, past, present and future. Keeping his tour party small it felt like a stroll around the city with a mate. Marti delivered it in an honest but ultimately positive manner. Thanks again Marti and I’m sure our paths will cross again on our next visit.
What can I say about this lovely man. His knowledge of his city is second to none. This is not your average tour , so much more and personalised to what you want to do . We spent 4 hours with marti, and felt like we were with a friend. We shared beer and chat along the way and learned and saw so much of this beautiful city that marti is filled with hope for . Yet another great experience. This is the second time that I took the tour with Marti. Last time was with my family and this time was to introduce a friend to the city. Marti tailored the trip, going out of his way to focus on areas important to us. As a Belfast native, living abroad for my adult life, I am delighted to see the progression of my home city. I am sure this is not the last time that I will be on the Marti Way! I recommend for all.

If you are looking to discover a different view on Belfast other than The Troubles history then this is for you. Marti was a great in weaving us through the city for 3 hours and providing history bits that linked Belfast to its past, what is going on now and how its sees it future. We are started at City Hall and finished in the Cathedral Quarter where the arts scene is alive and well. Thanks Marti!

Marti was a warm and welcoming tour guide who was clearly very attuned to the various interests of those on the tour. We particularly enjoyed the thoughtful way the tour was put together, which was evidently a blend of typical stop offs and areas he felt would interest the group. Marti pointed out lots along the journey and built up the story of Belfast in an in-depth but very accessible way. During the tour Marti took us for a brief stop to a traditional pub called The John Hewitt, which we were delighted to discover was hosting a traditional band that evening. We returned to the pub to enjoy the music, which really put the icing on the cake of a wonderful day. Thank you Marti and all the best ☺️

Marti's tour challenged what I thought I new about the troubles. His attitude of hope and positivity for the future underpins all the "information " he provides throughout the tour. Great tour, Marti was a interesting and entertaining guide, showed is all of Belfast City. Made us want to stay longer to explore all the places he showed us.
