Du kommer att promenera på Omaha Beach, gå in i tyska bunkrar, besöka Overlord Museum, titta över de 110 fot höga havsklipporna vid Pointe du Hoc och visa din respekt till dem som offrade allt på American Cemetery. Omaha Beach var känt för att vara det svåraste militära målet när invasionen av Normandie planerades. För att vara säker på att de allierade styrkorna tog den tilldelades de yngsta och mest dumdristiga soldaterna, de flesta av dem var amerikanska. Du kommer att gå på samma sand som dem och lära dig om deras hjältemod och offer.
Operation Overlord var kodnamnet som gavs till den allierade invasionen av nordvästra Europa. Detta museum har en oöverträffad samling av militär utrustning som användes för att antingen försvara eller attackera Normandies kust. Som till exempel en autentisk Higgins-båt i full storlek, med sin främre lucka nedåt, och imponerande Sherman- och Panzer-tankar.
Detta Tyska Batteri har en helt intakt Command Bunker och 3 andra bunkrar som fortfarande är beväpnade idag. Du kommer att klättra in i bunkrarna med din Guide och ta reda på vad som hände på morgonen D-dagen från Axelmakternas perspektiv. Lära sig om Rommels försvar känd som "Atlantmuren".
Till lunch stannar du vid en mamma-och-pop-restaurang som l'Hostéière. Vid kusten finns inga tjusiga restauranger. Det finns bara små ställen med färsk lokal mat som sallader, omeletter, grillat kött och crepes. Vi inkluderar inte din lunch i vårt turnépris. Du kan välja vad du vill från menyn. Planerar att spendera 10-20 €.
Pointe-du-Hoc var en strategisk Tysk försvarspunkt och på D-dagen var det högsta prioritet att erövra. Här kommer du att gå runt enorma bombkratrar till kanten av en 110ft hög, kustnära klippa. Lär dig hur Roders Rangers klättrade uppför den med raketdrivna änterkrokar och deras bajonetter.
Här står 9 388 vita marmorgravar i helt raka linjer. Du kommer att gå bland korsen och Davidsstjärnorna med din guide och visa din respekt till dem som offrade allt. Du kommer att besöka Medal of Honor-vinnare och även Niland-bröderna vars verkliga historia inspirerade filmen "Saving Private Ryan".
Innan det blev krig fanns det äppelträd att sköta i Normandie. Äppelodlingarna i Normandie odlar dussintals olika sorter av äpplen och förvandlar dem till fantastiska äppeljuice, hårda cider och stark sprit som kallas Calvados. Vi stannar vid en av de lokala fruktträdgårdarna och du får smaka på några av Normandies berömda cider. Vi betalar för din provning.

Absolutely amazing experience! We spent a full day in Normandy with pick up and drop off in Paris. While it was a long day, was a lot more convenient for us to do a day trip on our week long trip to Paris than staying up in Normandy. We went with our 15 yr old daughter who loved the experience as well. The small group tour had two families; 7 people in total. Great size to easily maneuver through the sites. We visited all the highlights in Normandy and our guide Cesar was beyond amazing. He had an unbelievable knowledge base of WWII and the geography and history of the area. As important was his ability to communicate and distill it for guests. He kept adult and kids alike engaged and interested. Was the perfect mix of factual history and anecdotes about aspects of the war. He was also very relatable with the kids, which made the trip enjoyable for everyone. Definitely recommend this tour for others and Cesar if he is available!

Incredible and emotional experience! Our tour guide, Oliver, was fantastic - super friendly, funny, knowledgeable. The trip was an entire day - well worth it but exhausting. Highly recommend.

Although the tour covered everything advertised and did follow a pattern (beach to bluff to bunkers to Pointe du Hoc to Cemetery), it felt disjointed and ad hoc. Although we went on side streets to get to locations (private tour versus bus), the routes taken seemed random. Ultimately, I saw and heard a lot, but the presentation seemed unpolished.

The meeting place was easy to find, look for the black corner restaurant with the abundance of pink flower decor above the entrance. Cesar was an excellent guide, full of interesting and new information I had not heard of even with my many years of WW2 documentary watching. He was cordial and worked diligently to support and inform the group. He brought us to a few other locations that were not on the normal itinerary and the group was very exiting about these opportunities. I an highly recommend the offer.

The Normandy tour was fantastic! We had a private tour for eight people, consisting of our family and another family vacationing with us. We were especially grateful that the company agreed to pick us up directly from our rental, saving us a 30-minute walk to the original meeting point so early in the morning. Our tour guide, Frankie, was wonderful. He shared a wealth of information with us during the drive and was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough throughout the day. Walking the beaches and other historic sites while hearing the stories of the soldiers who fought there is something we will never forget. This tour was one of the highlights of our London and Paris vacation. We highly recommend it to others!! Unfortunately, we experienced an issue with the tour van that caused us to miss the final activity—the apple cider tasting. While we were visiting the American Cemetery, Frankie took the van to a garage to have it inspected. The grinding noise we had been hearing turned out to be a brake issue, and he felt it was safest for us to return to Paris by train rather than continue the drive. Frankie booked all of our train tickets, made sure we were on our way, and even followed up afterward to ensure we arrived safely back at our rental that evening. The tour company also reached out to us and offered a 15–20% refund because we missed the final activity and had the inconvenience of changing our travel plans. We understand that unexpected situations can happen, but the way Frankie and the company handled everything was truly top-notch customer service. Their professionalism and concern for our safety left a lasting impression, and we would highly recommend this tour to others. I did only give 4 stars instead of 5, because we feel this could have been avoided had the van been inspected the day before the trip.
An unexpected highlight of our vacation! We traveled with ages ranging from 9 to 71 years old and everyone was engaged and enjoyed! Mathew was a wonderful driver and guide. Highly recommend!

Nicholas was great. He did not chat a lot at first on the drive, but he was very knowledgeable about the history of the reason and opened up as the day went on. He was a safe driver and took us to a nice spot for lunch. You don’t get to see the visitor center due to time constraints, which is unfortunate, but it was a great overview for a day trip.
