Vi kommer att gå genom de gamla portarna (Bab El Ain & Bab Souk) in i hjärtat av den blå staden. Som din Guide kommer jag att leda dig genom de pulserande gränderna, det andalusiskt inspirerade torget El Haouta och distinkta historiska kvarter som de judiska kvarteren (El Mellah) och de muslimska kvarteren. Vi kommer att stanna till vid traditionella gemensamma ugnar för att lära oss om det lokala marockanska vardagslivet, samhällsband och stadens rika historia av religiös samexistens.
Vi kommer att gå genom det livliga stora torget i Chefchaouen, kantat av kaféer och de magnifika väggarna i Kasbah. Det är stadens livliga centrum och ett bra ställe att insupa den lokala atmosfären.
Vi kommer att stanna för att beundra den magnifika exteriören av denna 1400-talsfästning som ligger på det stora torget. Jag kommer att dela med mig av Kasbahs fascinerande historia och förklara dess defensiva ursprung mot Portugisiska invasioner och dess kritiska roll i grundandet av Chefchaouen. (Obs! Vi kommer endast att se den imponerande exteriören och arkitekturen; vi går inte in, så inga biljetter behövs.)
Vi kliver strax utanför medinamurarna för att upptäcka stadens livsviktiga vattenkälla. Här kan du lyssna på det lugnande ljudet av forsande vatten, se lokalbefolkningen samlas traditionellt och lära dig om källans kritiska betydelse för Chefchaouens grundare.
Som avslutning på eftermiddagen tar vi en 20 minuters vandring uppför backen till denna historiska moské. Från en hög utsiktspunkt belönar det oss med fantastisk panoramautsikt över hela den blå staden. Det är den absolut perfekta platsen att ta bilder och titta på den vackra eftermiddagsljusfilten medinan.

Everything was fantastic the medina and the guide.
Zoubir is fantastic! He loves his city and showing it to people and you can tell this from the very first minute. In addition, he is gentil, kind heart, easy going and he knows a lot about history and culture of Chefchaouen and Morocco. Also he will show you the best spots. Definitely our afternoon wouldn't be that great without him. We are very grateful for having known him!
