Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, som ligger vid Victoriasjön i Uganda, erbjuder en unik möjlighet att observera föräldralösa och räddade schimpanser i en naturlig skogsmiljö. Helgedomen, som grundades 1998, spänner över 100 hektar, med 98% av arealen skog, vilket ger en fristad för över 50 schimpanser

Börja dagen med en tidig morgonhämtning från ditt hotell i Kampala eller Entebbe. Du kommer att resa på väg till Entebbe Waterfront Pier, som ligger nära Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC). Bilturen tar ca 1 till 1,5 timme, beroende på trafiken.
Ankomst till piren och incheckning för båttransfer till Ngamba Island. Efter en kort genomgång och flytvästsmontering, gå ombord på en motorbåt eller traditionell motoriserad kanot (beroende på ditt paket). Båtturen tar cirka 45 minuter och erbjuder vacker utsikt över Victoriasjön, fiskebåtar och små öar.
Vid ankomsten välkomnas du av helgedomens personal. En kort orienteringssession introducerar helgedomens historia, schimpansernas bakgrundshistorier och helgedomens bevarandeuppdrag.
Transfer Tillbaka till Kampala eller Avlämning i Entebbe Efter att ha lagt till i Entebbe, kommer din chaufför att överföra dig tillbaka till Kampala eller släppa av dig på ditt Entebbe hotell eller flygplats.
