This tour was everything we expected and so much more. Ben was a tremendous host who knows plenty about food and sandwiches. We would recommend the sandwich tour 100%.
We had a fantastic experience on our very own private sandwich tour with Stef. A great couple of hours eating delicious sandwiches and benefiting from all of the knowledge our excellent tour guide had. Stef literally knew everything there is to know about a sandwich, as well as local history thrown in too. We certainly ate in places that we would have otherwise walked past and opened our eyes(and tastebuds) to New Yorks hidden gems. Thanks for a brilliant afternoon.
Much like a sandwich, this tour is layered. Come hungry and ready to debate (in a friendly way) as Ben, your amiable host, guides you on a culinary tour of the East Village. Can't wait to see what they have planned for the 2026 World Cup!

What an amazing afternoon had with Ben, a man totally devoted to the humble sandwich. The tour was not rushed and we felt relaxed and comfortable in the group, all sharing our own experiences of New York and beyond. Stopping off at points to eat our sandwiches and soak up the atmosphere of the East side of New York. We would highly recommend this experience. Thanks for a memorable experience Ben. Sam and John
We don’t usually take food tours, but so glad we did this one. Tim was very knowledgeable, and his love for sandwiches was clear! All the food was delicious (3 half sandwiches was more than enough for each of us) and we loved their focus on supporting small businesses. Highly recommend.
Ben’s New York sandwich tour was incredibly helpful. He was extremely kind and felt like a “sandwich ChatGPT” who knew absolutely everything about sandwiches! We were also lucky enough to have a private tour, and it felt like he carefully selected sandwich spots based on our personal taste preferences. Since it was our first tour in New York, it was such a great opportunity. As sandwich shop owners from Korea, Ben’s philosophy on sandwiches was truly inspiring and valuable to us. I would definitely recommend this tour to any friends visiting New York in the future! It was absolutely worth the money, and we were incredibly full by the end of the tour.

Ben and his team were phenomenal! We had a private tour for my husband’s birthday and they joined the group like we had known them for years, which made the whole experience really enjoyable. Not only got to great sandwiches, but also learned the history behind them, and engaged in friendly group debate about how we define a sandwich. Highly recommend!
