HIGHLY RECOMMENDED We were lucky to go on the cruise to see the tall ships visiting New York for USA’s 250th birthday. I have only positive comments to make about Classic Harbor line. My wife and I had a great time on Jul 5th sailing past all of the tall shops, naval vessels and monuments on the ManhattanII. The crew was terrific on the 115pm trip and our guide (sorry I don’t remember her name) gave us a splendid description of the ships and nyc history for almost 3 hours. A wonderful trip.

Timing wasn’t great: it was Fleet Week but none of the “tall ships” were there except one, and it wasn’t displaying its sails. The rest weren’t expected till days later. I didn’t know that when booking. Complimentary beverage was great: choice of beer, wine, soft drinks. Service was OK: first drink was immediate, but after that, we had to flag down our wait staff. Cleanup was great. Boat was small (lots of rocking on a calm-sea day), but it took us from Chelsea Piers, up to Intrepid, back down around Manhattan and Jersey coastlines, around to the Manhattan Bridge and back. Nice, long, 3-hour tour. Narration was very informative the entire 3 hours.

Great views and friendly staff. Be prepared as the inside of the boat does not have any air flow. In the summer it is like a greenhouse and so we spent most of the cruise outside to get a breeze. Otherwise, really nice and exactly what we expected.

We're not immediately sure which trip you were on, but we should note that many of our vessels have air conditioning and/or windows that can be opened, and it should have been possible to get air flow to cool down the cabin. The cruise to and around the Statue of Liberty was wonderful and a great way to see the statue up close. The captain and crew were knowledgeable and professional. This is a small yacht without a lot of people, which was nice.
We had 3 generations in town for a college graduation and this was a wonderful way for everyone to experience the city from the water. The crew was friendly and attentive and helped one of our party with accessibility needs. We brought some snacks and enjoyed drinks from the bar.
