New Orleans Street konst och Graffiti Tour

Detta är den första och enda turnén i New Orleans speciellt skapad för resenärer som älskar samtida gatukonst, lokal historia och urban utforskning! Det är en fantastisk aktivitet för konstnärer, konstälskare, par, familjer och ensamresenärer som vill ta sig ut ur de franska kvarteren och uppleva mer av vad staden har att erbjuda.

Vi träffas på St. Coffee på St. Claude innan vi ger oss ut på en fotogenisk promenad full av dold gatukonst och lokal konsthistoria som äger rum i 9:e, 8:e och 7:e avdelningarna. Områdena vi kommer att utforska i Bywater Historic District är verkligen "off the beaten path" och nämns inte i guide- eller reseböcker. Du kommer att introduceras till lokala och resande konstnärer och de olika medier som används för offentlig konst när vi vandrar nerför gatan.
Vi lär oss om lokal konsthistoria och tolkar ett konstverk i St. Roch Historic District, och stannar sedan för en kort paus på den 149 år gamla St. Roch Market, där gästerna kommer att ha tillgång till gourmetsnacks, drinkar ( inklusive hantverkscocktails, öl och vin), kallt vatten och rena badrum.
Vi kommer att interagera med skimrande mosaikkonst skapad av den internationella konstnären Laurel True, besöka en mängd väggmålningar skapade av några av stadens mest kända gatukonstnärer och utforska en kort vägsträcka som har blivit platsen för mer än två dussin offentliga konstverk.
Vi promenerar till kanten av French Quarter, där vi besöker ett av Banksys återstående konstverk i staden New Orleans och diskuterar vilken inverkan deras konst hade på samhället!

Really good Street Art tour with Dave. It was nice to get out of the typical touristy areas of New Orleans. We also got a lot of history about the music and culture of jazz/new orleans, which was really interesting to learn. Also, the art is fantastic.

I’m so glad I happened upon someone online plugging this NOLA artwork as the highlight of their trip to the Big Easy. I can definitely second that opinion. Our guide, Dave, was laid back but certainly no slouch when it came to knowing his stuff and sharing his expertise in and love for the New Orleans street art and music scenes. We saw and learned about a side of the city we never would have discovered like that on our own. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I spent an enjoyable and very informative morning walking around New Orleans on our tour looking at a great variety of street art murals. Our guide gave us great information about the artist, their background, and where they predominantly lives and worked. He was knowledgeable and a g gave us a lot of great information. The variety of styles and themes of the murals that we saw during the morning varied greatly and further increased enjoyment the of the day.
Well designed and paced. I was the only one who showed up for the tour but they still honored my reservation and I got a private tour!
