New Orleans läckra munkar & beignets : en söt promenadtur

Nyligen framröstad som en av TripAdvisors bästa matresor i USA. De flesta känner till Bourbon Street och de Franska kvarteren, men många känner inte till Magazine Street, där vår turné äger rum och har en rik historia kring mat, konst, kultur och nattliv. Vi kommer att besöka 4 olika butiker - prova munkar och beignets hela vägen. Vi börjar med traditionella beignets med florsocker och en kaffe i handen, vi kommer att lära oss om kvarterets rika historia som det relaterar till New Orleans. Vid vårt andra stopp följer vi upp det med hantverksmässiga munkar på en av de bästa munkaffärerna i New Orleans. Efter en kort promenad kommer vi att ha några superintressanta beignets med olika pålägg och såser, olikt allt du har provat tidigare. Och slutligen hamnar vi vid vårt sista stopp och vi får vår sista överraskning på turen. Det är säkert att bli ett läckert och avslappnat äventyr du är säker på att njuta av. Hoppas vi ses snart!

Vår turné börjar i Garden District-kvarteret på PJ's Coffee, en av de sötaste kaféerna i New Orleans. Här ska vi prova några av deras fantastiska beignets, som visas ovan. Efter det tar vi en lugn promenad längs Magazine Street. Vi fortsätter sedan vår väg till District Donuts, en av de bästa munkbutikerna i New Orleans. Efter en kort promenad besöker vi våra 3:e och 4:e stopp för några fantastiska beignets. På varje plats kommer vi att prova flera olika typer, smaker och stilar av munkar och beigneter, så kom hungrig! Bara en FYI - turnén börjar och slutar inte på samma plats.

Emily was a terrific tour guide. She showed us all the cool spots of NOLA and told us about all the rich history. I would highly recommend going on the tour if you’re looking for a fun thing to do!

This is a decent walking tour. Three of the four stops are for biegnets, so be aware if you are looking for lots of donuts. Our guide was really nice and took us through the garden quarter. The one drawback is that my wife was vegan and clearly indicated this on our reservation, but the guide had no idea in advance and had to improvise on the fly.

The tour was a nice change of pace. The doughnuts and beignets at the various places were great, and walking through the garden district was informative.
