Nerikiri och Matcha Making Class i Kyoto

Nariko was efficient and patient with us. We had fun and created something special. Hopefully we can find the ingredients at home to try this again.

This was a great intimate experience at a woman's home. She was very knowledgeable and making and keepin the Nerikiri we made was very special!!

Fun Japanese candy making class, with a knowledgeable teacher and all the equipment ready to go.

Seamless experience. From station we just walk a short distance. Everything is very clean and pristine. Very clear instructions on what to do. It was a lovely experience.

She is very nice and we had a great time. Lots of fun and she had very clear instruction to help people like me who aren't very artistic. So so fun!

Nariko was an absolute pleasure and it was such a fun and interesting experience! It is quite a challenge if you have fat shaky hands like me but so so rewarding! They taste and look incredible and pair amazingly with the provided Matcha! Nariko is incredibly patient and supportive throughout the class and she’s incredibly knowledgable about Nerikiri and how its made as she pre-prepares it all herself! Such a lovely way to learn more about Japanese treats and a great way to experience Kyoto :)

A truly unique experience and one we will think about for years to come. It was fun, educational, and relaxing. Our instructor invited us into her home and we immediately felt comfortable. Highly recommend!

Delicate but very doable with guidance! Teacher was precise and well organized. We had a great time and made five cute snacks.

I had a great time with Nariko while taking this course. She's an experienced teacher in multiple domains, and it shows up in her clear instructions, patience, and reassurance. This class was the perfect mix of challenging enough to feel engaging, but easy enough that you will leave with a product that you'll feel proud of. She's structured it in the perfect way so that the tedious/annoying parts are done before you arrive, and you can focus solely on the action assembly/design work associated with Nerikiri.

This is such a special experience! As someone who isn't really artistic, it's amazing what my finished product was. Nariko effortlessly moved us through the motions from explaining, demonstrating then hands on until we'd made the most beautiful, and delicious, Japanese sweets. This is something so outside of the ordinary and a memory that will last forever.
