The translations take so long and so incomplete that you miss half of the guides descriptions and guide is pointing to the next thing while you are hearing about the earlier one

An activity in which I had high expectations turned into one of the biggest disappointments due to the organization. Firstly, some confusion upon seeing that the attendees are from many nationalities despite the activity being promised in Spanish. It was a relief when they explained to us that the guide would speak in Italian, but a system they were launching that day would serve as a personalized simultaneous translator. It is frustrating when we find that the translation takes time from when the guide speaks until we receive the corresponding audio. Those seconds of delay, which I cannot quantify, are not too important when the group is moving, but they are unbearable when the guide speaks while looking at you or refers to a specific detail that is in plain sight. IT IS UNBEARABLE when you are already inside the Chapel and lose all internet connection, causing the translation to stop working, and the guide, who does not speak Spanish, resorts to English for the entire group to explain details as subtle as those required to explain the art contained there. Since the Chapel does not allow cameras, you also cannot take photos to later look up the explanations on your own. And that is how one of the most magical corners of Naples becomes a fiasco. My feeling is that when you want to squeeze tourists from ten different countries/languages with a single guide and without having tested the viability of the system beforehand, you are deceiving them.

Multilingual group with non-functioning transmitting devices, a near altercation between a passerby and our guide. I would say there is nothing else to add.

This tour was expensive for what it is. We met our guide in the square, and were given a translating device with an earpiece to listen to the guide. The translating device spoke with an American accent and there was a delay between the guide speaking and the device translating. A couple of times everyone in the group lost sound and the guide seemed annoyed with the man who was there to give out the devices which makes me think this is not the only time the listening devices have gone down. It was difficult to know which piece of art / sculpture the guide was talking about at any given time and she seemed to flit between random facts and information, like she was just relaying facts, it all seemed disjointed. The veiled Christ is beautiful, there is no mistaking this fact, and the chapel ( now no longer a chapel but a small museum) is very ornate with lots of statues, as are the anatomical machines which are very interesting to look at but it was costly for what it was, did not seem good value at all, and no photos are allowed. I would recommend booking early and getting an audio guide at the chapel itself rather than choosing this tour.

It was a truly exciting experience and much more engaging than I expected. Admiring the Veiled Christ in person leaves one speechless: the beauty of the work and the incredible mastery with which it was created evoke deep emotion. The visit was not limited to the Veiled Christ, but also allowed us to discover other extraordinary works present in the Sansevero Chapel Museum, delving into their history, significance, and techniques of realization. A special thanks to our guide, who, with passion and expertise, dedicated more time to us than expected, making every explanation interesting and engaging. I carry with me the memory of an experience rich in emotions, art, and culture, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting Naples.

The tour was outstanding. There is no way you could appreciate the chapel without a guide to explain the art and sculptures, particularly the vieled Christ.

We had a terrible experience. We received all the instructions about the meeting point (exact address) and time (10am for a tour start at 10:15). We were at the exact address at 9:55 and when the guide was still not there at 10:15, I contacted the Vox Customer care who told me the guide would come anytime. 15min later when still no one was there Customer Care told me it's because the previous tour is delayed. Eventually the guide show up at 11:15 for the next tour pretending to have been at exact same place where we have been all the time, which couldn't be true and confirming that customer care had no clue of what was going on.We eventually went to the chapel with the tour of 11:15 which was itself delayed by 30min which meant that it started at 11:45. I would definitely not recommand to book this tour with Viator.
