Nazisternas koncentrationsläger Liten grupptur från Amsterdam

På denna lilla grupptur kommer vi att besöka resterna av det nazistiska koncentrationslägret Vught från andra världskriget, med dess rekonstruerade vakttorn, baracker, krematorium och barnminnesmärke. Lägret användes mellan januari 1943 och oktober 1944 och höll över 31 000 judiska och politiska fångar. Under detta besök kommer vikten av denna tid i vår senaste historia att belysas. En ljudrundtur ingår på platsen. Vår reseledare kommer att stanna hos gruppen under hela besöket och kommer att kunna svara på dina frågor. Privat transport, dryck och snacks ingår.

På denna lilla gruppturné besöker vi resten av koncentrationslägret med dess rekonstruerade vakttorn, kaserner, krematorium och barnminnesmärke. Detta imponerande minnesmärke, som är centralt beläget på campingplatserna, visar namnen och åldrarna på de 1 269 judiska barn som deporterades i juni 1943. Efter ett besök i minnescentret och museet kommer det att vara dags att gå till avrättningsområdet, ligger i de omgivande skogen. Ett minnesmärke har uppförts här som visar namnen på de fångar som avrättades på denna plats.

This was by far one of our favorite excursions. It was very moving and educational. Eva’s personal family story really brought the experience to life. Her story made the ride to Vught go by so fast. Five stars was the max I could give. I would give it a 10 if I could. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone coming to Amsterdam and looking for unique experience.

Beautiful visit to the camp. Instructive and moving. The site is well arranged. The museum offers short testimonies from former detainees.

Our guide was sweet, kind, and an excellent driver, and the site's history is deeply moving. However, the transport van was unbearably hot as the air conditioning only functioned in the front.

Unfortunately we have indeed experienced some fairly un-Dutch hot days this week. The air conditioning should normally be functioning in the whole van, not just in the front. My family of 4 loved this tour-a highlight of our trip. Ava was a fantastic guide and amazing storyteller. Her knowledge of WWII and the holocaust was close to her heart and it showed. I highly recommend booking with her!
