Denna vandringsturné är cirka 4 timmar totalt, borta från det liv och rörelsen i storstaden Osaka. Du kan njuta av säsongsbetonad natur medan du går. Det är cirka 30 minuter från Osaka med tåget på Hankyu-linjen. Mount Minoo en bred monumental park, "Mino Park", som har ett vackert vattenfall, "Minoo Waterfall" som har blivit utvalt som en av de bästa vattenfallen i Japan. Runt vattenfallet kan du njuta av olika scenerier under de fyra årstiderna från det färskt gröna på våren, fram till de vackra höstlövarna på hösten. Minoo Park utsågs som en kvasi nationalpark den 11 december 1967 som ett av Meiji 100-års jubileumsprojekt. En skattkälla av naturliga livsmiljöer av omkring 1300 sorters växter, 3500 insekter, många vilda fåglar, däggdjur, amfibier, reptiler, fiskar, etc. omger parken. Det speciella naturmonumentet, den japanska salamandern, bor också i bergsområdet Minoo.

Minoo Park utsågs till en kvasinationalpark den 11 december 1967 som ett av Meijis 100-åriga jubileumsprojekt. En skattkammare med naturliga livsmiljöer på cirka 1 300 sorter av växter, 3 500 insekter, en hel del vilda fåglar, däggdjur, amfibier, reptiler, fiskar etc. omger parken. Det speciella naturmonumentet, den japanska salamandern, bor också i bergsområdet Minoo.
"Ryuanji" har varit centrum för vattenfallen sedan forntiden. Här finns en dojo där bergig träning ofta hölls på. Bergpräster samlas här från hela landet i april, juli och november för en speciell offerritual. "Benzaiten", rikedomens gud, är förankrad i templets stora hall och rapporteras vara Japans äldsta av de sju gudarna med lycka.
"Minoo Waterfall" är Osakas mest rekommenderade vattenfall i Japan. Det stora vattenfallet har en bredd på 5 meter och en höjd på 33 meter. Den stora droppen skapar en imponerande utsikt vid basen där vattnet faller framför dig med en vit färg. Vattnet som snabbt rinner ner från stenmurarna har en imponerande mängd kraft. Det sätt som ytan på vattnet viker tillbaka när de träffar utskjutande stenar är mycket mystiskt. När du närmar dig vattenfallet kan du låta ljudet från det stänkande vattnet och vindarna skicka negativa joner i hela kroppen.
Inuti butiken kan du njuta av lunch och te tid i en lugn atmosfär. De äkta rostade lyxbönorna är alltid försiktiga, de rika smakerna och lite bitter smak är kända för att vara utsökta.

Naoko, our guide, was exceptional in so many ways. First, she was very accommodating on the starting schedule when the weather turned rainy. She lead a leisurely nature walk to the shrine & waterfall, and pointed out features & wildlife that we would have missed. Being a local, she was also able to educate us on Japanese culture including the wabi sabi spirit, filial piety, haiku, and day-to-day life. We really enjoy her company. This tour is the highlight of our Osaka visit.

We had a wonderful time doing this hike with Yukari. Number one, she was an absolute sweetheart. She was very knowledgeable on the history of Japan, the town, and the waterfall. She also gave us suggestions for the rest of our trip through other cities. The hike to the waterfall was a trek but definitely worth it. We highly recommend this tour if you want to go outside of the big city and immerse yourself in nature!

It was a great tour - beautiful nature, fresh environment, and Ms Naoko Fukunishi was an excellent tour guide. Unfortunately, the leaves haven’t changed their green color. We wish we could come one month later to enjoy the autumn foliage.

I had an amazing time with Naoko as my tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, well prepared and extremely kind and friendly. The nature was beautiful and the sights are breathtaking. I highly recommend stopping by the insect museum - the butterfly dome was simply magical. Don’t hesitate is you are looking for something out of the ordinary in Osaka area.
