Resplan

Exactly so!!! Few people go to this museum: it took me several decades to come here even if I lived in Rome and I passed one zillion times in front of it! Wonderful statues, and a great mosaic of Medusa. Well...don't spread the news
Your support means a lot to us! We're so happy you had a fantastic time exploring local flavors.
Museum was nice. Guide was late and appeared to be tired. Tour ran short but she was knowledgable would have like more time in museum before baths
Enjoyed touring the lightly visited Museum of the Romans. Many exceptional objects are contained in this museum and no crowds. The tour guide was excellent.
Matthew was the highlight. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The museum and baths are worth the effort, many ancient works and Michaelangelo's genius.
This was our best experience in Rome! Of course, we did the Vatican, the ancient city, and others, but the museum is incredible. Our guide was wonderful! He was knowledgeable, passionate, caring, and spoke perfect English. A great experience!
Absolutely brilliant our guide was incredible and this is the greatest museum in the world - it should be packed but it’s not - I want to go again and again
Mattia is an excellent tour guide who has mastered not only the basics of guiding but all the chances and details that add life to the statues and context the the frescos and mosaics he was showing us. He set an appropriate pace, even with my time-consuming picture taking. He even captured the interest of my wife who isn’t into Ancient Rome and had graciously indulged me. Matt is speaks excellent English. The tour was worth every penny.
The tour guide, Matteo(sp?), was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Roman era art. Could not have been a better guide.
Serena fascinated us with her detailed knowledge of the history and architecture contained in the museum exhibits. She was also able to tie that information to contemporary aspects of life in Rome. The tour was thoroughly enjoyable and we are happy we chose this method for visiting the museum. We would enthusiastically recommend Serena.
We loved this tour and the guide was amazing. He explained everything with tons of enthusiasm. I learned a ton. Highly recommend. The National Museum has the incredible frescoes, mosaics, and some incredible statues from Roman times. It makes it much easier to appreciate the surrounding ruins after seeing these amazing works of Roman art. I was also blown away by the Thermal baths that Michelangelo repurposed as a church. Our guide explained so well all the architectural features of the bath that are incorporated into the church. Really stunning. Highly recommend this tour. Also, the museum isn't crowded at all. Very pleasant to enjoy the art in a more peaceful way without getting jostled every other second.
