Great class with an excellent group leader! Would recommend to friends/family traveling to Naples!!!
I was alone at the class since I am traveling solo. I was hyped to learn the tricks and skills to make pizza and the class completely fulfilled my wishes. The group that I was in was small so it was a very personal experience. I lived the communication in the group but mainly our chef, who was positive, entertaining and a bright spirit. Thank you for making my start into the day special and teaching me the necessary things that I can take with me at home to make good pizza.
Chef Lucas is wonderful. Funny, attentive and dedicated. You will not be disappointed. The pizzas were absolutely phenomenal in my opinion, having eaten around Naples for 2 weeks these were on par with the best. This is worth it. Bravo Lucas. And thank you.
Unfortunately the Pizza didn’t really taste good, we didn’t make the sauce ourselves, kneaded a dough we couldn’t use, were handed a premade dough and stretched it, put premade sauce and precut cheese on top and didn’t bake it ourselves. A surprisingly long time we just sat around with the other participants and just waited to be able to do something. I understand that we can’t make the dough and wait 12 hours, however you can’t call this making your own pizza! In the end the pizza didn’t really taste like anything (we were told to only use a spoon of sauce and that wasn’t enough), but gas! There were darker yellow spots underneath our pizza that tasted like gas- we later saw that the stone oven was powered by gas! This is honestly not only bad but health concerning. I wish there was a way to get back our money (and time!)
We had a great time learning how to make Neapolitan pizza with our instructor Francesco. Despite having made pizza at home in the past, I learned a few new techniques that I will use going forward.
Chef Alex was amazing & made this pizza making very informative, interesting & also great fun , a great pizza class to do when in Naples
Interesting and enriching experience
Had a fantastic time! Going solo I was still able to pair up with the chef. He led a wonderful class, 10/10 would reccomend!
