Went again for the walk after a few years and found it even better and more informative . Neeraj has been working hard on his research’s. This walk was truly inspiring—an eye-opener for those unaware of the value of water in desert regions. It beautifully illustrated how the people of Rajasthan have survived harsh climatic conditions and water scarcity through conservation and mutual cooperation. The design of the water harvesting system is both unique and an architectural marvel. A must for heritage lovers

Neeraj is a passionate guide I will remember. It clearly explains the water abstraction system and its delivery. It allows us to see the constructions through the forest and the huge final water tower. This system led to the creation of Jaipur. Good experience that allows to go off the beaten track.

The walk was amazing. Neeraj was very attentive from the time I enquired about the walk. He has done some great research, and the walk is not a typical heritage walk. It brings in history through the story of water in Jaipur. I happened to meet a fellow traveller, and we had a great time. The walk was slow and gave ample time to take breaks. The whole experience was conversational and not one-way, which was amazing.

After several routine tours of forts and palaces across Rajasthan, Neeraj’s tour provided such a refreshingly different perspective on Jaipur’s heritage. This should be the first thing one should do when visiting Jaipur.

A great tour with Neeraj, he's has not only the tour of the place itself and the water system feeding the fort and wider city, but a load of extra maps, videos and photos to contextualise what you're seeing on the ground. I also really liked how he links the cultural aspects of water into the physical infrastructure, it really gives you a sense of the history of Jaipur and it's uniqueness. Very helpful and knowledgeable, I highly recommend the tour.

Had an excellent, informative walk with Neeraj seeing a totally different side of Nahargarh and, indeed, Jaipur. He is incredibly knowledgable about not only the history of ingenious water engineering in Rajasthan, but also about Indian history, culture, and politics. I felt like I was seeing and understanding the city and state from a totally new viewpoint and getting a better grasp on understanding the complexities of building and governing within a desert area. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in water and politics and those who want to get a unique understanding of Jaipur and Rajasthan.
