Vår resa börjar från Papafragas eller "vulkaniska poolen" där vi kommer att undra en stund på denna pittoreska plats, kan du titta ner i det klara turkosa vattnet. Phylakopi som är vårt nästa stopp, här kommer att introducera dig denna förhistoriska position. En kort bilresa från Phylakopi tar oss till den berömda Sarakiniko , det unika "månlandskapet". Den vackra platsen är en av öns många geologiska underverk och kanske en av de mest fotograferade platserna i Kykladerna! Vi kommer att ta en vägg ner i inloppet så att du kan uppleva denna unika strand och ta några bilder. Därifrån reser vi mot Plaka och dess kullerstensgator och gränder. I huvudstaden Milos kommer du att ha tid att beundra sin traditionella arkitektur och sin fantastiska utsikt över havet från verandan i Panagia Korfiatissa. Nästa stopp är den romerska amfiteatern i marmor. nyligen restaurerad.

Papafragas är ett kluster av djuphavsvikar och havsgrottor. Det ligger vid basen av en orörd ravin som formades av vulkanisk aktivitet.
Phylakopi är en bosättning som går tillbaka till den neolitiska perioden. Under utgrävning upptäckte arkeologer verktyg gjorda av obsidian, ett vulkaniskt glas som liknar granit. Det var också platsen där "Lady of Phylakopi" upptäcktes.
Sarakiniko är ett inlopp av rena vita klippformationer skulpterade av vulkanutbrott. Det är ett unikt landskap!
Plaka är en klassisk kykladisk Chora, med vita stenhus och bougainvilleor, belägen 250 meter över havet.
Placerad på en sluttning nedanför den pittoreska byn Tripiti, är den antika teatern en välbevarad friluftsteater i marmor, trots att den har varit något förstörd under åren sedan den först byggdes under den hellenistiska perioden. Det har en fantastisk syn, eftersom du tillsammans med teatern och de närliggande historiska katakomberna också erbjuds fantastisk utsikt mot Egeiska havet och hamnen i byn Klima.

We got to see the most incredible views of Milos! Kostas was the greatest tour guide! He showed us the hidden treasures and took great care of us. Comfortable air conditioned van, a small amount of walking, customized for our group.
There’s a lot of walking, but the history is great. Sarakiniko Beach is incredible to see. Our driver was very friendly and knew so much about Milos.
Kostas was an amazing guide. He was accommodating of everyone, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about showing us all Milos has to offer. He was easy to talk to and it felt like we were good friends by the end of the tour. He went above and beyond by arranging transportation for me to have a special birthday dinner in Plaka that evening, and suggested both a restaurant and foods to try.
Great tour! Marios took us to some very interesting places. He is very knowledgeable, very friendly, very engaging. One of our best tours of Greece.

West of the Cyclades, apart from the tourist hordes that invade its neighbors, this is Milos. Apart from the geological curiosity of the beach and the cliffs of Sarakiniko, not much to see on this peeled island, fried by the sun and battered by the winds. Ah, yes, of course, this is where French archaeologists found and reunited the two pieces of the famous Venus that sits in the Louvre... Other than that? Well nothing, except the unique charm of small villages like Adamandas or Plaka where white and blue reign, where sipping an ouzo or a Greek coffee under a dais of red bougainvillea contemplating the Mediterranean is an innefable pleasure. Time suddenly stops... To visit in autumn to avoid a merciless sun. The sea is still warm and its waters are still crystal clear. Regular sea and air connections.
