Inbäddat i en vacker dal och omgiven av bergskedjor, är My Son en av de mest fantastiska sevärdheterna i centrala Vietnam, som ligger bara 80 kilometer från Da Nang. Under utgrävningen av Min Son hittades brev som avslöjade att komplexet hade använts för offergåvor och dyrkan av den hinduiska guden sedan 300-talet. År 1999 förklarade Unesco Min son som ett världsarv. My Son Sanctuary är en anmärkningsvärd arkitektonisk ensemble som utvecklades under tio århundraden, som levande illustrerar det andliga och politiska livet under en betydande fas i Sydostasien. Ursprungligen byggdes templen i Min Son av trä, totalförstördes av eld på 500-talet och restaurerades på 600-talet av Sambhuvarman, som återuppbyggde dem med lokalt tillverkade tegelstenar. Great tour with great guide! Just be aware of the heat and humidity!
So much history to see and we loved the ride to and from the site through townships and recommend getting there early before heat and crowdsAND highly recommend our tour guide Nguyen Thi Minh Thu (Emily) she was so friendly and knowledgeable ….leant a lot from her, and our driver was really good

Our guide was fantastic! We did the private tour and could not be happier. He gave us lots of information on My Son, and was helpful in explaining why entertainment was shut down (due to a state funeral). I also really liked the fact that he is the first tour guide we've had here who did not try to get us to book with him privately away from Viator. When we did ask him if he did tours to Hoi An, he told us we really didn't need a tour guide, it was somewhere we could go on our own just by taxi. I appreciate the honesty. I would definitely look with this company again!
