På morgonen hämtar din professionellt Engelska guide och chaufför med luftkonditionerat fordon dig. Du kan välja upphämtningsservice i hotellets lobby, eller välja att möta oss på vår angivna mötesplats. Vi beger oss först till Mutianyu Great Wall, 1,5 timmes bilresa bort. Mutianyu är en lugnare, mer avlägsen del av Kinesiska muren runt Peking med mycket färre folkmassor. Detta segment är känt för sin fantastiska natur: frodiga skogar och grönskande gräsmarker som skiftar färg för varje säsong som går. Muren slingrar sig mer än 1 000 meter längs bergsryggar, innan den gör en skarp sväng och sänker sig brant nerför sluttningen. Du kommer att ha ungefär två timmars fritid för att utforska Kinesiska muren. Uppförsbacken tar cirka 30 minuter till fots. Alternativt kan du ta stolliften upp; en spännande rodelrutschkana nerför berget finns också på vägen tillbaka.
Efter en läcker lunch på en lokal restaurang fortsätter vi till Sommarpalatset, som ligger drygt en timmes bilresa från Mutianyu-muren. Sommarpalatset fungerade som en kejserlig kunglig trädgård under antiken. Här finns otaliga eleganta paviljonger, storslagna herrgårdar, heliga tempel, känsliga broar, vidsträckta sjöar och vindlande täckta korridorer. Den ikoniska långa korridoren, som sträcker sig längs vattnet, innehar Guinness världsrekord som världens längsta målade korridor. Du kommer också att besöka välkända landmärken som Seventeen-Arch Bridge, Marble Boat, Kunming Lake och Longevity Hill. När sightseeingen är avslutad kommer vår chaufför att transportera dig tillbaka till ditt hotell.

It was a great experience, the tour guide jerry, he was very informative, friendly, patient, polite and also the driver felt very safe. I have been to many cities of the world and Jerry was by far the most fun, flexible and informative with all the history. He looked out for our best interest and ensured we got to see and do everything we wanted on the private day tour to Summer Palace and The Great Wall of China. Lucy was such a great guide. She kept in touch with us before the meeting pickup, and arranged everything seamlessly. Because I was the only one who booked the full day, after the Great Wall, I had a private tour of the summer palace. Lucy’s knowledge of history was great, and she explained so much about China to me. Her English is very very good! Lucy kept me on schedule and helped me take lots of photos. Overall Experience absolutely outstanding Tour provided for my wife and I. Although this was my second time walking the Great Wall, it had been almost 16years and things sure have changed. Operator communications were professional, friendly and very informative. From the lead up a couple of days in advance to confirm details and to make sure we had all our ducks lined up to even accommodating my wife and I and changing the day in order for us to fit in another tour. Much appreciated. Our Tour Guide Jerry was Number 1. He made us feel welcome right from the time he met us in the Lobby of our Hotel till the end of our tour where he not only brought us back to our lobby but went over and above to help sort a banking issue out for my wife and I. Not only was Jerry very knowledgeable with the history of the Great Wall and Summer Palace. He was also a great story teller who effortlessly shared this wealth of knowledge in a way you could easily understand full of humour and easy to remember. Honestly we were blessed. Jerry was also accommodating to the speed of how fast or slow my wife and I wanted to take in all the sites. Despite the heat, His local knowledge definitely came in handy especially when he knew it would be beneficial to switch the tours so we wouldn’t be overcome by the temperature of the afternoon. Clever man that Jerry switching the Summer Palace with The Great Wall so we could enjoy the cool morning going up the wall and then enjoy the cool breeze near the lake at the Summer Palace. In finishing I would highly recommend booking this tour and ask for Jerry you won’t be disappointed.
